Rudrapalli (रुद्रपल्ली) is an ancient town near Delhi. Jaina records tell us that Shvetambara gachchha called the Rudrapalliya gachchha, originated from Kharatara gachchha in this place in 1147 AD. K.B.(p.1) mentions two temples of this place namely Parshva and Rishabha. [1]

Dasharatha Sharma (Early Chauhan Dynastie, p.255) writes that Jinadatta Suri, popularly known as Dadaji, who perhaps won over more adherents to the Kharatara fold than any acharya that preceded or followed him. He visited this place among other places. His Charchari Upadesharasayana and Kalasvar upa-kulaka convey in simple yet poetic language the ideas of his masters.
