Shri Sobran Singh Chahar is a very famous person in MP Police. He is basically from Hira Singh ka Nagla, Agra.
He joined MP Police in 1962 as a Stenographer(Sub-Inspector) and posted in Special Arm Force(S.A.F.), Gwalior.
In 1963, he transfered Jammu and kashmir and wroked there. After 2-3 yrs. left the Services of MP Police and joined J&K Police.
In 1968, again left the J&K Police and joined MP Police in Bhind as a Steno to SP, Bhind.
In 1972, He transfered to Jabalpur and worked there till 1980.
In 1981, He transfered from jabalpur to Gwalior and joined as P.A. to IGP, Gwalior and worked there more than 15 yrs.
In 1996, He transfered in S.A.F. Gwalior as P.A. to IG S.A.F.
In 1999, He transfered from Gwalior to Bhilai as P.S. to Addl. DG(Nexalite zone).
In 2002, He retired from MP Police.
In the phase of 1981-1996, He worked very actively and smartly and did lot of adveturous work.
Now He is living in Gwalior, His elder son is in Mumbai and working as a General Manager Marketing in S. Kumar Group and younger son is in UK and working as a Associate Test Manager in JK Technosoft(JK Group Company)
