Satvat

Satvat (सात्वत) is gotra of Jats. This gotra originated from Maharaja Satvak (सात्वक). ^[1]

Kaushitakai Upanishada collocates the Usinaras with the Satvat-Matsyas, the Kuru-Panchalas and the Sasas ^[2].
