Saunkh is an ancient village in Mathura district in Uttar Pradesh, founded by the descendants of Pandu Bhima. It is one of villages of Bharangar jat Khaps. Mathura memoirs have mentioned that Hathi Singh, a Khuntail Jat, occupied Saunkh and reconstructed the fort of Saunkh. This was at the time of Maharaja Suraj Mal.

Dhana Teja is a village in tehsil Mathura of Mathura district in Uttar Pradesh. It is situated at a distance of 15 km from Mathura on Deli-Agra road. This is an old historical village founded by Baba Meghraj who came from ‘Sahajua thok’ of Saunkh near Rajasthan border.
