Taliyan (तालियान) Gotra Jats live in Meerut, Muzaffarnagar districts in Uttar Pradesh, Meerut in Uttar Pradesh; Nimach and Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh.

Some people write it as Talan (तलान), Talan (तालान) , Talanu (तालानू) , Tahlan (ताहलाण), it is all due to difference in region or language touch. The main centre or you can say biggest village is Chhur (Meerut). They are the descendants of Yaduvanshis.
