Umarwas, a village in Tehsil Badada (बाढडा), District Bhiwani, Haryana. Now people know Bhiwani as a boxer city of India. And the person who lead this game to Bhiwani, was none other a man from Umarwas whose name is Late Capt. Hawa Singh. He was three times consecutive champion of Asia in boxing. He opened the Bhiwani Boxing Club (BBC) in Bhiwani, in which a lot of youths practicing & sweating since his time. Now Vijender Kumar, again a Boxer from BBC, has made India proud by winning a Bronze Medal in Beijing Olympics,China in 2008.
