Vijwari (विजवारी) is a village in Vair tehsil of Bharatpur district in Rajasthan. It is a village of Indolia gotra Jats. It was founded by Vijay Sing.

Demographics

The village has a total population of 615 out of them Jat population is about 315. Biggest population is of Indolia gotra Jats with 43 families, other gotras are Sinsinwar population with 4 families and Deshwar population with 3 families.

Other castes are Brahman, Mali, Jogi, Kir, Teli, Jatav, and Harijan.

History

There were two brothers namely Vijay Singh and Gaj Singh. Vijay Singh founded Vijwari village and and Gaj Singh founded Gajipur village.
