How many circles of 4 inches in diametercould you cut out of this peace of paper??????

Dudee ji,
1. 5 circles if the original paper is of 12 inch diameter circle.
2. In case original paper is 12 inch sqr(which yo did not stated) than answer is 9.

12 inches is diameter of a circle.

After reading this problem I felt very good to
remember that this year the top 2 ranks in the
IIT entrance went to 2 Jat boys, and another
Jat boy topped IIT Bombay and now is at MIT.

From a student's point of view when trying to
solve problems, relate them to real life. If you
remember Carom Board, a popula game in India
where you put a piece in centre and other
pieces of same size around it, you get the
answer.

Dudee sir, Mera bhi uttar 7 hi aa raha sai. Aur manne to "Microsoft Visio" khol ke Tasvir bhi bana ke dekh li. This is of course assuming that the page is a circle with a diameter of 12. If you are getting a different answer, pray explain?

Answer is 14. (pls take it seriously).

You cut 7 hard circles and 7 hollow circles.
