Hi,
As you are aware how Jats are portrayed in media and how they are viewed by other castes and group. This article is 3 year old (so I didn't put in current events) but it is relevent when we talk about Gurgaon taking over Banglore.

So far so good (well not so good actually)... But it's surprising that some panjabis (not all) too don't give Jats proper respect and look down with condescending brows... E.g. in following sikh-history website this article is discussed... Whereas though Jats make fun of sikhs (everyone does) they give them proper respect whenever we talk of history and their sacrifices in last few centuries... More over, though gurus and lots of influencial sikhs were khatris and other higher castes, most of converted sikhs were Jats themselves...

I agree there are some problem about caste system an all, but instead of bashing a caste one should contribute positively for such issues.... and trivial fights amongst between diff groups like Sikh/Jats/Rajputs/Brahmins/Banyas etc... is not good for India as whole...
