Below is the message from one of my friends who is doing his PhD in Georgia Tech Univ.
-------------------------------------------
On behalf of my advisor, I am currently looking for a PhD student in
mechanical engineering at Georgia Tech-Atlanta (USA), who is from India. The
PhD is in mechanics. It specifically covers - "Nanoscale-microscale mechanics
studies for overall macroscopic resolution and interpretation." The studies
are computational and one needs to develop mathematical model and working code
to be run on high end parallel computers like IBM-SP4, etc. Strong analytical,
mathematical and creative abilities are desired. Additionally, the candidate
should be able to demonstrate a motivated work approach. The candidate need
not be a fresh graduate or a final year student in RECK. Please forward this
to anyone who you think might be interested. He/she need not be specifically
from RECK.
