Now, It is over the head. I don't understand, what are the plans to stop that kind of attacks?
Even, now they are targeting educational institutes also.

Sequence of events

The incident took place at around 7:30 pm (IST) near the JN Tata Auditorium, where delegates from all over the country had gathered to attend an international conference.

Some of the delegates came out of the auditorium and were heading towards the Satish Dhawan Auditorium building, around 200 metres from IISc entrance.

Suddenly a man emerged out of the parking area between the two auditoriums and started throwing grenades and began firing indiscriminately.

The gunman then dropped his weapon near a tree and jumped into a getaway car and disappeared after killing Professor MC Puri and injuring three others.

There are too many reasons why India can't stop these terrorist attacks. These have been discussed in earlier threads a number of times. We are incapable of doing so. Period. And it is so easy to carry out an attack in this country. Even a fool with basic training can successfully plan and carry out a bomb blast any where and at any time. The good point is that Pakistanis also have the same DNA as ours. Thank God they are our neighbours and not the Israelis!!

The 'Security' will now be 'Tightened' for some time and the common man would suffer. ISI would have already planned another attack of this nature and would do so when they choose to. It is a shame but then that's how it is. The whole of Mumbai police has been busy for the past few days in looking after the corrupt politicians of two major poltical parties who are having their annual mockery meet.

Also don't forget that Abu Salem was taken for Lie Detector Tests to Bangalore yesterday. It is too much of a coincidence. May be this incident happened at his behest. The Political - Criminal Nexus is so strong today that Abu Salem threw a Rum - Coke party inside the Jail. Senior police officers were running around as servants because 'Bhai Log' were having fun. The whole system stinks. And as long as we don't have bomb blasts taking place in these corrupt politicians houses, nothing would change.

This would be discussed at all levels of government and forgotten. Haven't heard about the Crisis Mgt Cell meet as yet though. Few idiots will make strong statements against Pakistan and carry on. Remember the famous 'Aar Paar Ki Ladai' by Vajpayee. In any case who is intrested. Madam is planning new year holidays in Maldives (she has all the right to have a holiday. Running this country must be tiring after all). The haves have booked their hotels and clubs for the 31 Dec bash up. The have nots are not supposed to disturb them.

Another year wasted and the new one comes calling!!
