Abhishek,

1) Are you thinking of setteling down in some "other" country ? If not, I will suggest that you should appear for CAT.

2) MBA in any foreign country is kinda costly, so you have to keep this in mind before making a decision.

People say that the only reason they want to go to some other country for higher education, is "just" good eductaion. But I have met only few guys, who after completing their eductaion, went back to India. Moreover, once you come to a foreign country, stay there for few years, its always difficult going back. I think education is good at both the places, its more to do with staying in India Vs Staying in a foreign country.

I hope this helps you

Ajay

If u can afford education at abroad and if u come in top 10 uni. of US then u should go for MBA from US but here they require atleast 4-5 years of exp.. for good institute...

And if u can go for CAT its reasonble and its THE THE BEST to get admission in IIM. and i would suggest if u can through wid IIM that is the best thing...in this world..if u want list of best uni. in US then u can go at www.USNEWS.com (http://www.USNEWS.com) and on this site u can get the list of top 50 uni. of US under the options of best graduate schools..

Hi Abhishek,

Everything depends on your viewpoint on job. if wanna go for fulltime MBA then go a head for CAT/GMAT if thinking of abroad National University of Singapore (http://www.nus.edu.sg) is one of the best.

if you are opting for MBA with job go for XLRI (http://www.xlri.ac.in/satellite/ (http://www.xlri.ac.in/satellite/)) that is of 14 months and requires 2 years experience.

Last date for XLRI is 5/06/2006.

if you need some more information on MBA please let me know.

Thanks

Abhishek,

Exposure to a foreign Univ is considered "good" by Indians becuase its different from what we get in India. But the only good thing about this exposure is that its different, new people, new place and new culture and these things add to the "exposure" and make it "good".

As far as quality of eductaion is concerned, IIM's rock, they are really great. No doubt education is good in foreign Univs too but if you can get the same stuff in India( cheaper too) then why to spend so much and study abroad.

So as I said earlier, its not about the eduaction, its about Staying Abroad Vs Staying in India.

Hope it helps, if not, lemme know.

Thanks
Ajay
