When CPU chips start mfg every company name the chips from there no. like 8085 80286 or 386 upto 486 each company were using the same nomination at this point Intel wake up and approach the court to get 486 as there registered trade mark but court said that no body can registered a figure as there trade mark socourt allot them 486 dx as there first ever tm cpu chips . after that immediately they registered the pentium for intel and hence the pentium series started.
