I dont think its (army attack)ever going to happen.Both nations r nuclear powers and fight will mean millions of lives.But direct policy can be :Tit for Tat.If they kill 2 then India should go for 4.It may sound absurd but thats what Israel is doing.In present circumstances government is just showing its inability---How many times they will request for Dawood's extradition to India?If our intelligence has the wherebouts of Dawood(as they claim),then why not finish him ?

Israel does have a very high level of corruption. It may not figure out in global corruption estimates. But it is a differne tkind of corruption.

Billions of dollars meant for humanitarian purposes are siphoned off by Israel every year into its Military program. They do not have bribery at the lower levels like electrity and telephone departments becuase they are all privatized and free markets do not tolerate corruption.

There is a lot of moral corruption. I read the memoirs of journalists who have investigated how the Israeli government functions. There are not preset moral guidelines. Promiscuity among colleagues is rampant. There is total disrespect for human life. They lie outrightly to the world. The Israel that the world knows is not the the Israel that it actually is. I wont be surprised that I may be targetted by Israel for writing this. They do not tolerate the slightest of criticism.

Above all they have no scruples syping on their best friend that is the USA. There are so many cases of Israelis spying in the US. I can go on and on.

As long as the motivated population goes, let me tell you that Israel is one of the biggest welfare states in the world. A large part of the population relies on government aid. Most Israelis are immigrants from the former Soviet Block countries. They are hardly educated. A little less than majority of Israels GDP comes from foreign aid.

Finally: nationalism.

You can see the price they are paying. They are bing bombed left and right. This is what happens when people blindly follow their governments "flawed foreign policies." I guess Israelis are among the most hated people in the world, for what they do to their neighbors.

Now coming to the main post.

It is disgusting to see that we are glorifying what Israel is doing. We must condemn their actions. Over 300 civilians have been slaughtered and nearly a 1000 have been maimed. The country has been decimated to ashes. Are they going to pay for the damage they incurred?

Israel never intended to attack Hezbollah because they are bombing Lebanon from north to south, while the Hezbollah are right on the souther border a mile away from their own military.

The fact is that there are a lot of Israelis who condemn their government's policies. Even the parents of the kidnapped soldiers want the government to stop this madness.

But their voices are drowned by the overly-loud voices of the war hawks.

Infact we must condemn Hezbollah too. Dont forget that they started the current crisis. I understand that they want their innocents to be released, but this is not way of doing it. You cannot abduct two helpless soldies who are their in the first place beacuse they got drafted. Not to forget that the Hezbollah are targetting innocent Israeli citizens too.

Whats happening is totally disgusting and unadorable. There is nothing glorious about throwing bombs on a country and killing helpless innocent civilians.

Coming back to the topic, Israel is a Jewish state and a much smaller entity on world map than India. Both the government's have different agendas, Israel has a strong lobby in the parliaments of all the western countries. With help of many such factors and their bravery Israel has been dealing with terrorism and violent attacks impressively. But India is a different picture altogether, India had to give her own land to accommodate Pakistan and Bangladesh in other words Muslims, whereas for Israel Muslim land had to accommodate Jewish people thrown out of Europe by Hitler and other anti-semitics. India has many times more Muslims in herself thanthe population of Israel, going on war will be much more difficult for her than in Israel. Economically, Israel has a strong backing again from Jewish lobby in the world whereas India does not have such privelage, taking violent action would put the country back many years.

This problem can only be dealt diplomatically and other tools such as media and awareness. Today, even if we destroy Pakistan we will face the brunt of other Islamic nations and loose our friends within the Muslim community and then who will put the oil in India cars, trucks and machines.

I think because of some Jats like you whose hearts boil before their brains rush with blood we Jats have already earned such a negative image of being brainless warriors. Thankfully due to efforts of some forward Jats this image is changing to smart and brave people, please dont undo this and respect your bravery, intelligence, yourself and ultimately our Jat identity.

My friend fighting for ones rights does not give negative image to any community. Blood of a man always boils if any injustice is done to his country.
Fighting for stupid things gives a bad name. Fighting for own country is not stupidism.You are lucky that u have not lost anyone in blasts in mumbai and delhi. Living in constant fear for ones beloved is much worse than dying.
Some posh people on leaving their country dont care about their country they feel ashamed talking about their own country and caste. I know many posh jats whose faces turn red if anyone calls them jat.
One should believe in himself and should stand for his family community and country.

Well .. first things first..

1)
Israel and India are in very different political and social situation.
The two nations have had very different history and cultural backgrounds.

2)
The enemy in case of Israel is very distinct and clear .. They officially condemn Israel and take full responsibilty of the bombings in Israel.

In case of India.. the enemy is working with an altogether different strategy.. one thing we must be aware of IT IS NOT PAKISTAN but A SECTION OF EXTRIMISTS who are to be blamed.. And in such situations diplomacy is the only key...

Many political thinkers are of the strong belief that Musharraf has been trying a lot to gain control over the terrorism.. but then it is not too easy..!

Musharaff must be supported in his project of taming militant.. Accusing him/ Pakistan for blasts will just make it tougher.. he has himself been hit twice by terrorists which prove that he is actually bothering them.. We seriously want him back there at the top in Pak.. !!

Terrorism in India is strinking wid sole objective of disturbing peace and stability so that their own agenda of free kashmir is brought in headlines.. In case of Israel.. there is no carving of making news.. they just want blood..

So basicaly if we get into war with Pak or even if some heated arguments start .. it would just be a victory of terrorism..

These outfits want Pak and India to get out of track of the peace negotiations.. because then they get back into the limelight!

And most importantly.. Israelis are high headed fellows.. who are so obsessed with the hangover of atrocities committed on them during Nazi regime... that they just get hyper over even small criticisms...

War with pakistan is not realistic. Firstly India cannot afford it, militarily and economically. Secondly, it is in our best interests to strive for peace with our neighbours. A highly integrated and open south asian economy is the only long term solution for lasting peace and prosperity. Even if we destroy pakistan's military in a conflict (though highly unlikely), that will not end the terrorism problem. For the short term we should focus on improving domestic security and for the long term focus on economic and social integration. Population in both countries just want a better life. Common people in pakistan and in India are not interested in bombing each other to dark ages. Dear Friends, hate is an extra baggage. Get rid of it and enjoy life.
