hi friends,
I wanna share a this little info. by which we can access pdf files very fast..
very often it takes a long time to open pdf files...and we v can optimize this by little trick...here it is..

1. Go to the installation folder of acrobat reader
(C:\program files\adobe\acrobat\reader\...)

2. Move all the files and folders from the "plugins" directory to the "Optional" directory. (Cut and paste the files NOT copy & paste).
Also make sure that acrobat reader is not open else it will lock the files and not allow you to move the files).
Now your acrobat reader will load very fast and almost as good as notepad....

Another way on windows is to press the 'shift" key and then double click on the PDF file. Make sure to keep the "shift" key pressed until the file opens in PDF. This avoids the loading of all the APIs (or plug-ins)

you are right amar, if this avoids the loading of all the APIs(or plug-ins) then itz the same what is done in my case. Actually there we have removed the APIs/plugins which are not needed for the mere reading of a PDF and hence itz fast to open.
Anyway, the implementation of your way is quite simple and comfortable for non techhy..
thanks for sharing dear...
warm regards,
narendra
