Well Sudhakar you can try this :
Dalia boiled(meetha) with milk in the morning
then after a couple of hours u can go for light breakfast then more then a litre of banana shake during the day.
Lunch mein bahut sa salad, aur roti, sabji ki ek dum aise taise kar do
saanj si ne ek chocolate ya pastry
arr raat ne pher ghanay e tikkad.
arr dudh arr dahi ghana e kha lyo

n this plan worked for me.

i fully agree with the diet told by revinder ji....
ibb agar bhookh na lage to bhai do some excercise..
baithe baithe khakar charbee chadhaane se better hai ki khoob khao aur khoob excersice karo..
it'll help in growing ur muscles rather then just fat accumulation...
arr tu to kuch bhi kha le bhai...it will help u to gain weight..
keep eating bhai....

and bhai dont get deppressed if u r not gaining enough weight...
sometimes u can't gain weight chahe kitna bhi khalo (i am facing same problem)..
I am 5'10'' and 60 kilos.. I used to eat 2 liters milk, 150gms ghee and lots of dahi, sabji and chapatis (20) per day..but no weight gain..
(my physio said my weight is locked :) )
however it helped me in gaining extra musculer power.. so it ok...
strong body..less weight...itz good i guess..

sumit ki baat mein dum hai.......yeh american style hai mottta hone ke liye...

and besides that...HBO subscribe na karwaa liye......khaada naas ho jyagaa....aur suuukh jya ga..........reason mein aare nahi batta saktaa.....lekin koi sa bhai khulasaa karr hi degga......


mottta honna ho to khuub kelle kha, ddudh piyo, er 3-4 din mein !*^#$& ho ke aaa.......:p :D

last but not the least important....very very important.... phuleeez dont try YOG asans......aare kayi janne sein bhai tere types............jo ghanna laambe khich ge...er kuch YOG asan karr karr ke suukh ge......:eek:

er motta honna ho to killkkii taull join karr le....ji bharr ke haansya karr......saarri chintaa chitta saman bann ke uuudd jayeggi.....

if any doctor can tell me the rules to increase my weight then that doctor need not go for higher studies or research...i myself will qualify him/her:D ;) .....abhi tak jitne bhi tareeke bataye chahe funny ho ya serious sab karke dekh liye koi effect nahin dikhaya.....yoga also didn't effected me.....aur rahi makkhan aur ghee ki baat....to puri jaatni ki tarah khaati hun ye sab fir bhi no increase in weight.....:( :( :( :( :( ....so if you know something else about it then i would definitely like to know it by you all...so keep on searching some best way for it...after applying it on me i'll tell you which method is really effective.....:D

On a serious note, I have had a good experience gaining weight. It depends what kind of weight you want to gain: fat or muscle. I would strongly recommend the latter option.

I used to be 327 pounds. I came down all the way to 178 pounds. That was last August. After that I stopped looking at my eight.

Over the last 5 months, my waist size has stayed at 32. I usually look at my weight when weight size goes up.

Then the other day I got on the scale, and I was shocked. I am touching 200 pounds.

Now, I consume 8000 calories the days I work out and keep it under a 1000 on other days. But when I consume 8000 calories, 75 percent are protien ( whey and chicken) calories, 20 percent Carbohyrdrate Calories and the rest 5 percent are Fat Calories (unsaturated fat mostly).

So I went in for a fat-muscle analysis the other day. I have 8 percent Body fat, which is nearly half of the average male body fat composition. Healthwise, I am close to being as lean as possible and have gaine 30 pounds of muscle in 6 months.

Nutrition is a science. Dont play with it. Take it seriously.

Sudhakar I have two suggestions for u and both works ( I hope so):

1. Get Married - Shadi ke badd achee achee pahalwan ban jatee hain, i dont know why:rolleyes: ........par there is one side effect - agar ghar wale ne kalesh karna surru kar diya to 2 mths main pheer pahlee jaissee ho jyaa gaa....

2. Sonipat Distt. ke Kharkhoda kasbee main matindu ka docter se Dahiya......manee sunee se wo motttee houn ke suuanee layya kara.....ek be usss the bhee maill ke dekh le bhai.........ghanee poster chapya ke laa rakee se dakee nee.....Side Effcets - I dont knoe as I have not tried par mahree gam main ekk choora tha, jiske chattee (chest) main chandigarh chamkya kartaaa....ebb wo fulla fulla ho rahha see.....I asked him bhai ke batt seee.....tu to tawala he motta hogaaa....tee wo bollaa....Mathidu wale Dahiya Docter se suuaneee lawayee seee....(However at your own RISK!!!)

no no i don't want to be a fatty girl....i just wanted to say that whatever i eat, my weight never get affected....whether it is xtra oily food or just a simple one....i always remain the same everytime.....sometimes feel good but weight ko dekh kar abhi bhi school mein padhta hua baccha samajh lete hain.

Well, first of all...dont get depressed...bein skinny is not a sin!!!
aur sun regularly workout kiya kar aur diet mein high protien, hig fiber & high ghee add kar le...aur paani bhi kam se kam 5 liter piya kar din mein...aur sabse jaroori baat khush raha kar :) :)

Workout mein Pranyam, Yoga aur strechin excercise bhi add kar lena...aur haan achi si gym mein jaa ke weight trainin bhi le lena...but dhyan rehe coach achha hona chaiye!!

diet mein heavy brunch le ....desi ghee ke paranthe with dahi aur desi ghee ki aamlet doodh ke saath!!

aur rasgulle khata reha kar....aur ghee ke laadoo bhi kha liye....aur agar non-veg hai to week mein 1-2 baar chicken, fish khaya kar bindaas!

fir dekh tera weight kaise nahi badta...but bhai mote hone se aadmi fit nahi hota....life mein discipline laana padta hai....so roz jam ke excercise kar aur fer jam ke khanna kha aur fir khush reh!!

aur haan jyada daandri mat kaadiye, jaisa ki kuch daanger doctor tane suggestion de rehe hein!! vo tuje phoos khila khila ke kilkki maarenge...vaise bhi unhe kon samjaye....hamesa daandri kaadne wale baawli booch hua kare aur iska ilaaza paaglon ke doc dhorre hi hua kare!!

aur haan bina baat hanse wale mane to vo subah subah dokree hahahahah kara kare naa jukkar laage se.....bina baat hansne ki koshish ;)

tu bas bhai jindgi ka swaad le aur khush reh!!!

Bro

I have seen many people who makes a muscular body and they all were skinny before.

You dont need to put on weight as it may come with Fat but get Muscles

Join a gym, get some protien enriched diet. Eat bananas with Milk and eggs and do the Right excercise under a right Coach

And trust me you will have a rocking personality in less than a year

:p Yaar! I try to buy food that has calories listed on it. As for whole foods like fruits and nuts, I go by the general calorie listings mentioned on the internet and other sources.

As far as counting the calories burnt is concerned, I know that I have burnt my 8000 calories when I cannot do another set of weights without another dose of calories.

I try to work out at the end of my day, even though its recommended that you workout in the morning. The reason being that I go to bed empty-stomach, right after my workout. My sleep burns the left over calories and burns excess fat stored in the body.

So, when I wake up, I am so damn hungry that I run to the fridge as soon I can.

One final tip: start your day with a heavy dose of fiber. I revvs up your metabolism. It turns your body into a fat burning machine.

When I wanted to get on a body building program, thousand people gave me thousand suggestions. What I noticed was that the people who have the least results to show had the most to say. So, I listened to guys who are actually serious body builders and got some real serious benefits.

dont do anthing except being happy...go out and enjoy the world...try to get rid of worries and soon you will get weight accumulated...other philosophies are just a wastage of time/money you know...i would sugget you better invest that time and money living your life freely with each moment flourishing and adding to your weight...

there are many people who are below 60 kg yet healthy...hahaha :rolleyes:

Now I am facing a completely different problem ... I am 5'11 and aboput 85-88 kgs .... and this is after I fight for it ... If i dont run for a month its goes to 90 ... I dont have a big gut .. but i do start accumulating weight if i dont exercise ....... I used to work out a lot but last couple of years or so due to work I dont get much time for much physical activity (its really sad)

Sudhakar bhai I wish there was a way we could swap our physical tendencies ...

Well, bhai do workout regularly & include Pranayam & some basic Yoga Asanas as well in ur Program specially *Surya-Namaskar* ... if u do practice these excercies regularly I bet u'll always b in shape n fightin fit!!

I wonder why dont ppl work out regularly....when they eat, sleep, n :rolleyes:
so guys plz! do exercise regularly in today's luxurious life style if u wanna stay fit!!

Hey Vishwajeet, I hear you totally. I'm another "truly blessed" soul who belongs to the zone where you belong.:D

You start gaining weight if don’t exercise in contrast to certain set of people (Oh!!! How I envy them!!!!..:mad: ) who do nothing , eat candies, chocolates as much as they want and not even a single pound gain!!! How fortunate!!

There is another side of the coin, a hot field in research currently. The genetic side. There is whole lot of research showing involvement of certain genes in deciding the tendency of gaining weight. So, don’t worry too much (no point, our genetic make up..dare I say sucks!!..:eek: ), keep workin out…..only way ou!!

5 Aloo ke Paranthe with 100gm butter and jee barke Lassi.

Lunch Main chawal aur 7-8 Roti, sabji.

6 baje see ek Kingfisher strong ar ek Grilled chicken.

10 baje dinner main butter chicken ke saath 3-4 Tandoori Roti.

You can try this also, it might work for u:) :) :)

bhai tu katti naash karega chorre ka...itna khaane ke liye appetite bhi to hona chaiye aur believe me itnt calory burn karne ke liye kasutta hardcore workout karna padega!!! :rolleyes: :)

after coming to US i gained 15 kg in 6 months.
what i did
i used to eat donuts 4 breakfast .banana walnut cake for lunch , roti sabzi for dinner and icecream kattorafull 4 dessert.

Bhai Jit, pata nahi kyon jab se maine ye comment padha hai daily yahi dimaag mein ghoom raha hai.. when I eat, sleep, browse net n do all kinda timepass, why am I not regular with my exercise schedule.. kisi na kisi bahane se ignore karta rahta hoon .. meri muscles bhi mujhse kafi dukhi ho gayi hain kyon main unko aajkal bahar nahi nikalta ;) - but I am sure gonna restart my routine and maintain it forever (hopefully) starting this month

Well, bhai do workout regularly & include Pranayam & some basic Yoga Asanas as well in ur Program specially *Surya-Namaskar* ... if u do practice these excercies regularly I bet u'll always b in shape n fightin fit!!

I wonder why dont ppl work out regularly....when they eat, sleep, n :rolleyes:
so guys plz! do exercise regularly in today's luxurious life style if u wanna stay fit!!

take gud meal with protiens etc...
gud sleep...

KILKEEEEEEEEEE.

(1)ok ..stay happy and don't be too much worried about increasing weight(while practicing the weight increase method).

(2)Do not do any intense cardio exercise like running and cycling.

(3)Banana shake is NOT effective at all.(personal exp. for along time)

Now eat these.

(1)Peanut butter, brown bread, salad, rice, less chappati, more leafy vegetables, milk, eggs.

Most Important:If you are between 20 to 25 or 29, your metabolism is so fast that is dosen't allow you to gain weight.

Do this regularly for two months then stop completely.

One should definitely gain weight.

Here it is:
Liv 52 - 2 months, 4 bottles.
it's an excellent liver tonic. so improves appetite and digestive power. best part is it's ayurvedic.

Eat healthy food - less ghee because hard to digest ( i know it goes against all jat traditions) more daliya, dahi, roti, sabzi. definitely kela (v.high calory content) & doodh
and exercise.
the important part is you should digest whatever you eat for which exercise is important.
- running 5 miles at slow speed (you will lose weight)
- running 1 mile at high speed (will improve stamina)
same concept goes with weight training (instead of small weights and extra number of times, go for a bit heavier weights but less number of times)

high protein diet / protein supplement: are useful ONLY if you're exercising. (because they are hard to digest)

yoga: if you've any health problems then do 5 minute kapalbhati and anulom vilom pranayam each everyday. excellent results for every disease, will increase energy levels.


3-MONTH SCHEDULE
stage 1 ( week 1 )
- liv 52 - 2 months, 4 bottles (liquid)
- start light exercise
- pranayam - kapalbhati; anulom vilom

stage 2 (week 3)
- increase your food intake - (by now appetite would have increased and so would have your digestive power)
- light exercise

stage 3 (week 5)
- heavy exercise + high protein food: don't do one without the other
