I want to discuss something about Jatland moderators in open. We members here reply to a thread according to what we want to say or want to express. If a moderator feels that the reply is not upto the mark of Jatland's standard he should contact to the concerned member giving him a notice.

But, three of my posts have been deleted, out of these three posts, for two posts he gave the reason that he thought that my reply was off topic/junk to the particular thread. But, then i discussed this with the h'ble moderator, and his response come in this way that i should comply with the rules which i accepted when i became member of the Jatland. Though, i agreed, and posted my objection on the forum *about Jatland*, it was again deleted by the same moderator with a suggestion that I should contact to the administrator regarding this matter. I should, but, this kind of things should also be discussed in open. I did not use any offensive language and, wrote what i thought I should write. But, then how come a moderator judge that the reply was so irrelevant that it should be deleted without prior notice?

Here, I think that, his this action was influenced by the views of my fellow members. They could have said something against my post personally and the moderator, without rethinking, just deleted it proudly. What a shame on that moderator. I suspect him doing partiality.

If the moderator is right he should not have deleted my objection post. Let people know that he used his power incorrectly.

Or else mention in caption on the Jatland that BEWARE YOUR POST CAN BE DELETED WHENVER A MODERATOR WANTS. it will make your task easier, and we will also not be affected by this, because we will already be knowing that our post can be deleted anytime.

Dear Ch.Saab, Please lets cut it out.yaar meri bhi post delete ho gayi hai and I noticed 3-4 other posts from Keshav Dahiya was also deleted.They were termed as 'Junk'.But I could still find some more "JUNK" posts in that particular thread.Par yaar koi baat nahi.2-4 post delete ho gayi to koyi baat nahi. Is baat ko jyaada matt badhaao. Jo hota hai achhe ke liye hota hai:) .
This is probably 5 or 6th thread which has raised finger on the mods' working strategy.Chhod do is baat ko ab yahi per.Nahi to saare dukhiyaare aa lenge yaha pe rote-rote and ultimately this thread has to be locked.

I do add my voice to Hemants objections ........... though I have never .. NEVER ... had any issues with any moderators, I think deleting threads that raise questiosn about a moderator's actions is definately unaccepted and not right ...

Just because you "the Moderators" have a right and access to do so ... that does not mean you can actually do it ...

A lot of threads questioning moderator action are locked ... why ??

Trust me majority of the members including myself support you ("The Moderators") and in case there is a discussion on your performance we will vouch for you ...... but that does not mean that you will not permit a discussion ...

You are doing good work ... but that does not mean you can act in a Fascist Manner and go on deleting & blocking something you do not like personally .... its just wrong .... it just should not happen ...

Every member even if they are disgrunteled have a right of say .. you cannot censor of delete peoples comments as long as they are not vulgar ...

and just to clarify .. I have never met Hemant nor have I ever had any contact with him on a personal level .... and I do support the management team ...

becoz whenever you feel like conveying something to your fellow jatlander, you need an expression to write..where..I think its rite here.....so thats why we tend to reply here......kaam ki baat ho ya na ho........we reply and I think thats why we are here.....to interact with fellows someway or the other.....even my posts are deleted ...doesnt matter.....i tend to forget and move on and wud continue to do...nevertheless i feel that somethings wrong....

One very imp point I wanted to convey here is that.....Once I was gifted an infraction point by the creater of this site brother Nitin Dahiya for using external link in my Signature..............I accepted it in a humble manner....no qualms about it.

But since a long time I have seen our worthy Moderator Jakhar ji for using his BLOG as his signature addressing MY PAGE ...... well still i am ignoring it.....:o

Jakhar saab atleast you should know this rule if you impose such a tight regulations on POOR jantaa....

Its an open forum, all the members are adult. Give them the freedom to deal with the situations their own way. If their conscience/soul allows mudslinging, why not? If they dont have a problem with their personal grudges going public, why not??

There is a chance that later, sometime down the lane, they might feel apologetic or regret seeing what they did. Give them a chance to learn and grow their own way. And if they don’t, loss is entirely theirs!

Moreover, just my personal opinion, you must let people express during adverse times. After all, even the real life is not rosy all the time!
