Sometimes, I think about my past relationships and the way they had worked out at that time. I always believed whatever we are today is because of our past relationships. What if they would have worked out differently? Would that have changed me as a person today I am? What I have learnt from my past relationships?

I found few answers:

Past should remain past and shouldn’t be dragged in present.
One should be more patient with rejection, people, situations and life itself.
Too Many expectations kill a relationship.
Don’t take the other one involved for granted.
Don’t put too much effort in finding love or companionship, let it find you!
Don’t pretend what you are not, just be yourself.
Trust and maturity or lack of it can make or break a relationship.
Observe the life while it is passing by you during all these relationships.
Go slow and steady in a relationship. Rushing in a relationship will have its own repercussions.
Trust your gut feeling while taking critical decisions in a relationship.
Give each-other enough time and space to grow individually.
Love is not about giving or taking…It’s all about sharing.
Learn to say NO.
Move on quickly.I certainly know that there are many other things yet to learn from one’s experiences. There is a saying that expresses something along the lines of "For every negative, there is a positive." So, I would like to end it on a positive note by learning the most important thing from my past relationships is:

The ultimate test of a relationship is to disagree while holding hands. :)

I always believed whatever we are today is because of our past relationships. :)
I too Agree
lesser the desperation and expectation level is, higher the level of peace and happiness in life :)
