hi all

i have been observing a white layer on my tongue for last one year
as we do find in case of constipation , i also have lost some weight
during this period and felling quite weeken .
Do anybody know how can i get rid out of it , my age is 21
could it be a kind of dehyderation?
if anybody have any idea abt it plz give me direction.

i m taking vizylon tablets for last 20 days

Hi Kuldeep,

This might not necessarily be because of constipation. Oral Thrush is the most common of all reasons which makes the tongue white.

It is an infection of fungus in the mucus membrane of mouth. I wonder have you not seen a dentist since you are experiencing this for an year now!

Other possibilities could include being anaemic or short of certain Vitamins and Minerals , and you may therefore need some simple blood tests to make sure you are not short of any of these too.
