I would like to know if Yuvrj singh is Jat or ?. As per my research I have come to know that he is Jat and his gotra is Bhundel. Please find hereunder several liks which support what I say. Still I would like to know what do you guys think.

Sanjeev is exited about Yuvi’s JAT connection …and there is nothing wrong in this… here we are on a CAST specific community portal JATLAND.. Yuvi is Indian…but he is called as Punjab da Puttar…Lion of Punjab by cricket commentators so many time… so in excitement or in curiosity if a member of JL want to know his Clan …usse Yuvi k Indian hone pr koi aanch na aati…

It really does not matter if he is a Jat or non Jat? He did well in 20/20 game and was rewarded more than what the effort would have called for. Good thing to promote a sports person.

However to the best of my knowledge he is a Rajput by caste. I remember this question had come up when he first arrived on the cricket scene as well as when his father made a famous new ball pair for Haryana State with Kapil Dev.

Hi All… We are really proud of Yuvraj Singh, he is a gem.
But we can not conclude anything in such kind of threads, I suppose.
Just see the replies… Someone told that he is a Jaat then he became half Jat(as only father is jat) then he became a Punjabi and finally a rajput but he cant belong to these many castes… so what is the conclusion…

The conclusion is we are wrong somewhere and have a little knowledge abt this.
So its better we can close this thread coz its nt gonna conclude nething.

Chalo maan letein hai, he is a jat. Okay now how can we feel more proud ? Can we express it or will it give us extra pleasure… nope .
The only thing is we will try to prove in the society that he belongs to the same community which I belong to … and that is dikhaava (show off ) .

That is an excellent approach to life. The more simple you keep, happier you are. Hard work always gets recognized, but more than hard work your positive attitude that brings you to leadership role.
One little example:
During IInd worldwar in Burma, after regular defeat and withdrawal for a long time, the Indian Soldiers got some break from Japaneese and for the first time were resting, when the message came that Japaneese have again contacted and they have to withdraw. Field Marshall Sir, William Slim's staff said "This is worst". Slim said "This could have been worst". The staff asked what could be worst than this? Field Marshall said "Suppose it was raining".
That is the difference in a good leader and outstanding leader.
The book written by Sir Slim "Defeat into Victory" is an excellent book on leadership and man management.
