Well this is true to a good extent. The problem is that most of the people opt for teaching or banking job just to have a job where they can give enough time to their family and at the same time earn. But they do not realise the responsibilties of job. Its just something that help them earn and give sufficient time for their families.
Their is no harm in choosing this job with an intention to do justice with your family responsibilities but at the same time one should realise that they are also responsible for shaping the future of so many students. They do not understand the importance of their role.
Unfortunately, in the present scenario there are very few who understand this and take this job with the kind of commitment needed towards the society.

bhaai sandeshe
you are right, the educationists/teaching fraternity is messing up but we need to realise too
1.are we behaving like a responsible society
2.is 'being a good human' a priority with us
3.do we teach our kids to be good humans
4.most parents tell their children why they should try for govt job "kaam karo na karo tankha time pe milegi. zindagi bhar ka aaram"
let us make ourselves good and let us all try to spread the goodness by being good. may be we will be able to bring a change, maybe we will die trying but i dont mind either outcome.

ar tannai tai yo tthaasraan mai gyaan saa aa gya deekhai sai. ghar sa basaa liya in tthasraan mai tannai tai.

Study shows ugly face of rural schools
Teachers found absent, consuming mid-day meal
Tribune News Service

Sirsa, November 24

A study of schools in villages in the district has revealed shocking facts like failure of students of class VIII to recognise alphabets, teachers often found absent and at times consuming the mid-day meal meant for students.

Besides, schools lack proper bus services and roads leading to these are in a dilapidated condition.

The three-day field study was conducted by a Delhi-based NGO, Pratham, in collaboration with the departments of public administration, physical education, commerce and journalism and mass communication of Chaudhary Devi Lal University to find out the status of primary education in villages of the district.

Sixty students visited 30 villages in the district and collected data from primary schools and also surveyed 20 households in each village.

The students were trained to collect data and conduct the study by faculty members of the university.

Padmini Jain, a faculty member of the department of journalism and mass communication, coordinated the entire exercise, said chairperson of the department V.S. Chauhan here today.
