Dahiya ji,

The Jatland has in the start following info on

http://www.jatland.com/home/Sir_Chhotu_Ram

Recorded his life span as Sir Chhotu Ram (1891-1945)

At another place in the same article under the heading The Early Years
we find

Sir Chhotu Ram (Gotra Ohlan) was born on 17 Feb 1881 in Ghari Sampla in Rohtak district.

There is mistake. Can some body correct it from authentic sources?

Regards,

Regards,

There seems to be some truth in 24 November 1881 – some links show this as date of birth of Sir Chhotu Ram:

http://www.haryana-online.com/People/sir_chhotu_ram.htm (http://www.haryana-online.com/People/sir_chhotu_ram.htm)

Two more links with similar text:

http://profiles.incredible-people.com/sir-chhotu-ram/ (http://profiles.incredible-people.com/sir-chhotu-ram/)

(The same text has been posted by Anupama Beniwal on Jatland’s thread Sir chotu ram (http://www.jatland.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12861))

One more news item: http://www.hindu.com/2006/11/24/stories/2006112406710400.htm (http://www.hindu.com/2006/11/24/stories/2006112406710400.htm)

Interestingly, one site shows his year of birth as 1883 ! :
http://www.harappa.com/shah/shah054.html (http://www.harappa.com/shah/shah054.html)

So, before coming to a conclusion, let some authentic book on Sir Chhotu Ram be consulted and then necessary corrections be made on the page. Some educational institutes or Govt. records in Rohtak may have this vital information in their archives.

Please see the following page of Haryana Government’s website:

http://haryana.gov.in/misc/holidays_main1.htm (http://haryana.gov.in/misc/holidays_main1.htm)

Can someone explain why “Sir Chhotu Ram Jayanti” is shown as “23 January” on Haryana Government’s website?

By the way, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was born on 23 January 1897.

May we presume that instead of writing “Netaji’s Jayanti”, the guys maintaining the Haryana Govt. website wrote “Sir Chhotu Ram Jayanti” ?

Let the confusion be cleared.

"Oh, Allah. take the horses of jats back. without horse jat is powerless", so prayed timur to Allah. & as if Allah really heard his prayer really strange disease spread among the horses of khoja olan. due to that the winning jattah of Mongolia, the olan, had to face a stale mate(shatranz/chaturang). ultimately, olan jattah was appointed governer of Mongolia with timur as his advisor. as timur entered tohana/gohana/haryana etc. whatever. he cried, "abe yeh to detto vohi sein jinne manne mongolia mein langda kiya tha aur main inne chhoddu koni aa mhara purvaj changez khan jatta ke dar ke maare india mein ghusya kyoni teh phhir bhaahi usne up main jat sarva khap panchayat ne kuch issa lesson sikhaya ak o bahut pachtaya".
