We can say that India have quite a few good fast bowlers these days but certainly they are not the best among all current international fast bowlers. Infact it's our good batting order which makes all the difference ( most of the time :) ) and intimidating the oppsition's fast ( as well as spin ) bowlers.

South Africa have better fast bowlers. And don't underestimate Australia's bowlers inspite of this defeat.

vijay ji here are my views in comparision of both attacks

Dale Steyn, Morne Morkel and Makhaya Ntini

I do agree that if we have to go by fast bowling attack then ths might be the best idle combination.

But I will still not rate them above Indians reasons are:

1.Except ntini which has in -swinging ball other two r not a swing bowlers.

2.India sub.continent pace is never been a thread becouz of slow ness of pitches it is the swing that matters.

3. We haven’t seen much of there bench strength.

Therefore I will still consider Indian pacers an edge becouz of there ability to SWING.and bench power.

And as far as Australia is concern, last series clears all doubts..

On one side we win the series just because of our early breaks provided by pacers, which results in Ishant Sharma as Man of the series.

On other side our openers have given the best ever performance against Australia.
