USB pen-drive data back-up ?

recently i misplaced my pen-drive somewhere.. and, at that time, i was wondering that if its possible if i could keep an online or PC data back-up of my pen-drive.

its just a kind of wishful thinking for me... ( and may be for the other ignorants pen-drive users as well )

please guide me if anyone of you know the solution to this problem, i would be really grateful.
