देश को आजाद हुऐ 60 साल हो गये पर खेती और किसान की हालत बुरी है। सरकारे आती जाती रहती है और कृषि बजट भी बढता है पर हाल पहले से और बुरा। गलती कहां हो रही है। ऐसा नही की किसान के पास बिल्कुल पैसा नही पर सुविधा नाम की कोई चीज वह अपने गांव मे नही जुटा सकता। इसी लिए कोई नही चाहता की उसका बेटा खेती करे। कोई नही चाहता उसकी लडकी की सादी गांव में हो। गाव की परेशानी किसी सरकार को क्यों नही दिखती। इस फोरम में भी मैने कोई सी*रियस लेख इस विषय में नही देखा। क्या ये वाकई समस्या नही है। क्या गांव में खेती मे लगे लडके की सादी आसानी से होती है क्या कोई पढा लिख लडका खुशी खुशी खेती मे लगना चाहता है मेरे ख्याल से तो इन सबका उत्तर नही ही है। चलो इस विषय पर इस फोरम के माध्*यम से कुछ चर्चा हो जाये।

thanks to raise the thread, u abs right after 60 yrs no improvement, govt doesnt want to pain, Congress never do any work for farmers, before it NDA govt started credit cards for farmers, that is a good step bt it only for the big farmers. i think another Green revolation important now....

I shamelessly blame farmers for the current situation. They are static and feel that whatever they know is the last truth of this world. Punjabis came naked from Pakistan and lived in Refugee camps in Punjabi Bagh, Janakpuri and Rajouri Garden. They flourished exponentialy because they took risks and tried new things.
I think we are moving forward in right direction now. Problem is with the psyche of people and that can be changed :
1. Improve the education system in jat belt.Make Govt teachers accountable for student's performance.
2. Stop giving funds to Sapranchs/ Jila Parishad. Let Administrative officer do the development work in villages.
3. Move towards mix agriculture(Horticulture, Poultry, Hatching, Pig Farms, Murrah farms etc)
4. Exercise family planning. (Mera pad Dada 8 chore naa jamda toh mere bhi 600 beghe dharti hoti)

ये तो शर्म की ही बात है जो आपको जाट कम्*युनिटी के बारे मे ऐसा ज्ञान है। किसी भी अन्*य जाति से अधिक शिक्ष है जाटो में। दुसरी बात गांव छोडे बहुत दिन हो गये लगता है वर्ना किसान को ना कोसते। शहर मे रहते हो एक घंटा बिजली जाये तो आफत आती है पर सोच तो 4 घंटे खेत मे काम करके किसान को पंखा नसीब नही है सारे देश में। वहां विजली आती कहां हैं। शहरो की बिजली कटवाकर पहले गांव को दे दो तभी रोटी मिलेगी नही तो ना किसान रहेगा और ना खेती

Kisano ki halat kharab hone ke piche bahut sare reasons hain :

1). Govt. bahar se wheat kharidti hai 1600 me or apne kisano se purchase karti hai 700 ya 800 me... Agar govt yahan ke kisan ko wheat ki achi kimat dene lage or logo lo kheti se fayda hone lage to kisano ki halat sudhregi...

2). Gaon me electricity bhi ni aati hai time par jisse ki irrigation me badi problem hoti hai... Is baar ka hi example le lo, barish ne bada preshaan kiya hai , dhaan ki sari fasal shookh gayi logo ki... ab electricity hi ni hogi to tubewell bhi kya karega... "usar" ke bisar baithe raho to itna fasal shookh jati hai...

3). Govt fertile land ko purchase kar rahi hai industry setup karne ke liye... ek example deta hoon : Delhi me sari factories DSIDC ki bawana me lagayi gayi hain... Bawana me land bahut fertile hai, wahan ki sari zameen govt ne kharid li... govt ko industries unfertile land pe lagani chahiye... NH1 par delhi ke nearby area me sari zameen builders ne kharid li hai... kheti layak zameen bachi hi ni...

4). Kuchh galti kisano ki bhi hai... wo bhi innovative ideas ni lagate hain kheti me..

Jab tak kheti se kisaan ko fayda ni hoga tab tak halat aise hi rahegi.. Farmin ko bhi professionaly lene ki jaroorat hai warna wo din door ni jab yahan kheti layak zameen bachegi hi ni or hame bhi western countries ki tarah market se roti kharid ke usko fry kar ke khana padega...

Bhai sahab main continously gaam main raha hoon almost 22 saal.. I have seen things quite closely.. There is no harm to know our weaknesses.. It won' help us if we keep on ignoring facts:
1. Why we are not getting electricity in villages?
Everybody steal Electricity. Everybody has gandasa and chaki.. Nobody bothers to have right KWH meter and many people dont have Electricity connection at all.. This is the prime reason for electicity problem. App bhi samajdhar hoo, App koi cheej wahan nahin becho gee jahan see koi paisa naa milna hoo.

2. I am surprised that you think that Jats are most educated caste. Please spare some time go to some village and ask people what education means. I did a survey in some villages and found that 80% people don't know what is B.Tech, MBBS. They don't know what is laptop.
These are the facts and that needs be changed.
3. Its a captialist economy, Farmers have to prove their point. In US, 7% population do farming and they contribute around 25% to GDP. In our contry 60% population do farming and contribute around 15% to GDP.

आप ठीक कहते हैं कि चोरी होती है तो कया बिजली की चोरी शहरों मे नही होती। यंहा तो फैक्*टरी वाले इतनी चोरी करते हैं कि एक गावं भी नही कर सकता। शहर में चोर ए.सी चलाते हैं और गांव में गंडासा और चक्*की। देखो मै चोरी करने की वकालत नही करता पर जब बिजली आती ही दो घंटे के लिए है ओर वो भी 80 से 100 वोल्*ट तो कोई क्*या करे। फेस टू फेस भी करता है तारो की रिपेयर भी खुद ही करनी पडती है और ट्रासंफारमर जल गया तो 1-2 महीने की छुटटी। बिजली विभाग सब जानता है की चोरी होती है मीटर नही है लेकिन कुछ इसलिए नही करता क्*योकी बिजली आती ही इतनी कम है कि क्*या चोरी करोगे मिनिमम बिल ही उससे जयादा आता है। भई बिजली गांव की सबसे बडी परेशानी है उसे ठीक किए बगैर आप वंहा का जीवन खुशहाल नही बना सकते।
शिक्षा के मामले मे जाट सबसे आगे है मै यह नही कहता पर सबसे पीछे है इसे नही मानता। पढाई के कारण ही लगभग हर महकमे में आपको जाट मिल जासेगे इसलिए पढाई में धीर धीरे हम आगे बढ रहे है जो ठीक है परन्*तू गा्ंव में केवल जाट नही है कुछ अन्*य जातियों में पढाई की परगती संताष जनक नही है
युस की बात करना ही बेमानी है। वहां किसान अपनी किमत पर अपने उपज को वेचता है और यहां व्*यपारी की किमत पर। किसान कि सारी आमदनी व्*यपारी की झोली में जाती है। जब आलू कि फसल आती है तो दिल्*ली में 3 रूपये किलो आलू बिकता है सोचो उस समय किसान काे तो केवल 50 पैसे पर बेचना पड रहा होगा। वह उसे बाद मे बेचने के लिए रख नही सकता कोल्*ड स्*टोर चाहिए। यदि कोई कोल्*ड स्*टोर लगाऐ तो बिजली नही और डिजल से चलाओ तो काम नही चलता बताओ किसान क्*या करे। सरकार को देश में एसोयरड प्राईस लागू करना चाहिए कि किसान की कोई फसल फलां किमत से कम पर नही खरीदी जा सकती। भारत में किसान को संरक्षण देना ही पडेगा जब तक की वहां इनफा्रटक्*चर तथा बिजली वयवस्**था सुधार न दी जाये।

The same situation was prevailing in Delhi before the private companies took over, now the user is paying what he is using and the electricity is there.

The farmers are not using the new techniques available to them, although some of them are quite educated but still they either don't know or afraid about the rotation of crops. The salinity level in Sonepat, Panipat belt is increasing by the year. Guess how much pesticide is being used for Paddy crop, it is more than 3 KGs per acre per year. Will it help in better yield.... YES, Quality yield - NO.
That's why the rates of our farm products are lesser.

Bhai ibb toh family planning sahar se bhi jyada hai gaon mein.

Kya ab aap ek achhi technique bata denge without pesticide and urea. Bhai yehi issue unke saath hai.They cant take risk when they have family to feed and no other method of earning is there.

Kam pesticide urea se agar khadi fasal barbad ho gayee toh?

There is no problem today for any farmer to feed thier family. I have lived in Sonepat and saw things very closely and worked in fields like a bonder labourer(Mera dada Jota naa laan diya karta maine:mad: ).
What we are discussing is how things can be improve and how to face new challenges those will come in future.
Lets discuss about my Great Grand Father, He lacked vision and he did what was the requirement of his present time(made his wife kids producing factory:mad:). He never thought about that his kid's army will fight among themselves and will be depleted with land resources in coming years.

Now, Lets talk about Pesticides and ground reality:
I fully agree that we have to put almost 3 sprays of pesticides for Paddy. Let me put this situation like this: You have buffalo and it stopped giving milk after 6 months,You started giving her Oxytocin so that it can give milk. You enjoyed buffalo milk for another 2-3 months. I can see it here like a lack of planning and lack of ideas and strength to execute them.
we are doing same, We are not doing planing and we are not willing to try new things or innovations in agriculture.
We can't think new until and unless we understand that current system needs to be changed. Let me quote something from my favorite business leader Jack Welch "Change before you have to.."

We don't have the planning to begin with. and many a times resorts to knee jerk reactions. While talking about pesticides and all do yu think we were having same problem some 10 yaers ago. and what is your take on increasing dieseses among the farmers. These pesticides cant be absorbed by earth and percipitate towards the low lying areas and wells. We don't have some water treatment facilities in villages, hence all are being effected.

Now when some members are coming up with their opinions, why are people getting all worked up and asking- Aap kisaan ki tarah yeh karr ke dikhaao ya woh karr ke dikhaao. Agar Jai Kisaan ke naare lagaane se problems theek hone waali thi to aaj se 50 saal pehle theek ho jaati. Naare lagaane waale to bhatere hain. Yahan koi election to ho nahin raha ki bolo kisan ki galti nahin hai, yeh to duniya ki galti hai, etc. etc. Yeh sab faltoo ki baatein hai, inse kabhi kuchh nahin badla. When you want things to change, you have to introspect ruthlessly and change yourself first. Yun duniya ko galiyaane se to problem solve hone nahin waali. You may not agree with what members are suggesting, but atleast listen to what they are saying with an open mind. Otherwise what is the point of the thread? Or am I missing something?

It is the perrinial problem with all of us.... we thrive on leg pulling and not on constructive ideas.

Some of the questions raised by Deep are genuine, basic to the farmers cause and need earliest possible redressal.

Most Impotent and overdue for half a century is some some genuine Price Regulating Body that can monitor the price of the farming produce.

Electricity problem can be solved if the Govt has the will to do so. Privatisation can improve the efficiency in production and distribution.

Main problem is the small land holding with majority of the farmers. Having just 2-3 acres of land per family unit prevents them proper implements and proper selection of produce.
Solution to this problem can be found in COOPERATIVE FARMING
Small, medium, big size cooperatives can be formed, registered as business entity. That can ensure insurance and financing etc.
Issue of scarce water resources can be minimized with extensive use of sprinkler system etc. that an individual would find hard to buy.

कुछ तो नए प्रयोग करने पड़ेंगे भाई !
केवल सरकार को कोसने और भाषण देने से किसान का भला नहीं होने वाला !
किसान को खेती के प्रति पूरा नजरिया बदलना पड़ेगा !
सहकारी खेती एक मिल का पत्थर साबित हो सकता है !

सत्*यपाल देशवाल जी आपने सही कहा है और इस थ्रैड का मकसद भी समस्*या के हल के लिए है नकि किसी की गलती निकालने से।
मै यहां एक बात और भी उठाना चाहता हू कि देश की कुल कृषि बजट का 70 प्रतिशत धन कृषि वैज्ञानिको की तनकख्*वा पर जाता है और बदले मे देश के किसानो को उसका लाभ नही मिल रहा। हरित क्राति को आये 25 साल हो गये है। फिर इतने महंगे वैज्ञानिको का बोझ क्*यों उठाया जाये। आज वैज्ञानिको का कार्य देश के किसानों के अनुरूप ना होकर केवल उनकी नौकरी बचाने तक सीमित हो गया है। हमे इस ओर भी आवाज उठानी पडेगी।
