Ram 2 Sabne,

I am thinking of installing a Water Purifier, in my home. Can any one advise, which one to go for simple Water Purifier or RO.

Some say RO is not needed as its for Hard Water to make sweet, but Municipality tap water which come to my home don't need RO. If someone is working in some Water Purifier or RO company or can advise from where i can get good deal is more than welcome. As earlier someone on jatland helped me to buy AC. Hope u will respond me soonest.

Oh!! I didn't know that.. In that case, we have two options:

1. Sue Hema Malini for selling hazardous products

2. Din main 2 Glass pani Matke kaa

In case of mineral water,it is first made absolutely free from minerals or salts. Thereafter, minerals or salts are added in required proportion as per the standards i.e. BIS or WHO. But, RO system removes approx . 90-95% of dissolved minerals and chemicals from the water and nothing is added back.

However, an expert can explain this aspect scientifically as well as practically.

RO system provides pathogen-free water, thus good for preventing water borne diseases. However it also removes naturally occurring minerals in water, due to this RO water is known to measure acidic pH. Therefore it may lead to mineral deficiency and acidic state. Also it waste much water and power.
However, the water can be utilized for some other work and we can save power by other ways, and mineral deficiency can be overcome by a balanced diet. It’s better than dying of cholera or jaundice.
So my vote goes for installing of RO at your home and Kent is good.
