Oh My God !! How did u compile all this data first of all ?!!
However it is not surprising at all, there is no dearth of sycophants,
read somewhere that Sharad Pawar suggested the name of Bandra Worli Sea Link as Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link, whereas it was supposed to be based on Shivaji's name i guess.
Pray the sycophants don't consider renaming India as Indi(r)a !!

i can understand the unrest; but i expect that you would agree on one point, that while naming a institute, policy or scheme there are several things which the top bosses have to keep in mind; for example one is : please the boss !!!.

and also you can not deny the fact that all the schemes, institutions and policies have been devised, crafted and made for the welfare of poor and common man. so, as responsible citizens of this country, we should focus on the trasparecy and honsety in the implementation, working and resultant functional style of all the enlisted institutes, schemes, policies and not the nomanclature by which they are known.

By the way, all the three people, whose name you have questioned here, had selflessly sacrifised their lives for the welfare of entire country and i am sure most of readers/ us have not spared even 5 minutes to help even a single needy person.

So, at this point.. i can say only one thing....

"iss tarah kii baaton parr THREAD banana... Ye Achchiii Baat nahi hai !!! "...( Vajpayee Ji Style )

it's ok that what's in name after all need to work properly of all these institute, policies, awards, etc but
is it right naming all new ventures only associated with these three names?
or you want to say that only these three persons have done better for the society or common or poor and rest have not done any things. Our other freedom fighter, social activist have not done anythings.
It's shocking others rests execpt few are being neglected by mostly ruled congress party since 1947.
Politicians only work remains if want stay in politics to please High Command, Congress cheif sonia , Rahul, Priyanka.

It appears that people creating "cacophony" here are not commoners but a class of "DRAWINGROOM POLITICIANS"..... thats why they are indulging in to topics of so little and innocuous importance.

The brainchild of nomenclature is an administrative discretion and we should respect that; and should question it only in the situations where it is only a cosmetic change and not beneficial to grassroot.

I request and expect that, unless somebody has any adverse herartfelt, objectionale and seen... first hand experince over any of the named institutes, schemes, policies, rules, orders or bye laws should keep reservation on commenting over the "Nomenclature".

Samar Bhai, Sari duniya ke naam gina diye aur Haryana ki sabse badi project ko bhool gaye...hahahha...

Rajiv Ghandhi Education City, Sonipat, HARYANA..

then there are quite a few of other major medical institutions like PGI chandigarh and JPMER, Pondicherry which are also after the name of Nehru-Gandhi family. There are countless conference halls also I have seen. There is a saying in english;

" Evil is nothing but the good carried out in excess.".

Kis kiska naam ginwayen, Sabhi ne humko loota hai... Hope you recollect these lines of a hindi song. Har saakh pe ullu baithe hain...

1. Mayawati is busy in Kansi Ram mamorials and her own statues
2. Ch. O.P. Chautala was busy in Devi Lal Parks
3. Ajit Singh is naming anything and everything after Charan Singh

However, no one can beat congress when it comes to naming. No where in world one will find so may things named after one family.
