जैन धर्म के प्रबुध्दजनों ने समाज के सभी लोगों से आग्रह किया है कि 9 से 28 फरवरी तक होने वाली राष्ट्रीय जनगणना-2011 में 'जैन' शब्द का उल्लेख अवश्य करें।

समाज द्वारा जारी पत्रक में अनुरोध किया गया है कि जैन समाज के लोग भले ही कोई उपनाम अथवा गोत्र का उपयोग करते हों, किन्तु जनगणना फार्म भरते समय अपने और अपने परिजनों के नाम के साथ 'जैन' शब्द का उल्लेख अवश्य करें। इसके साथ ही धर्म वाले कॉलम में भी 'जैन' शब्द का ही उल्लेख करें।

As far as this JL is concerned there are all Hindu Jaats here, and when we say we are Hindu and Jats..what else do we need to fill in the form.
Jainism is a religion, so they want to highlight it..!!
