How important is Environment..?? ( i know it is very imp)
How neglecting environment can affect economies..!!

what are the related dangers due to environmental change on Flora and fauna ..?

what step we ( each individual ) are taking to conserve environment and save mother nature..??

HARSH REALITY

Around the world, lush tropical forests are being logged for timber and pulp, cleared to grow food, and destroyed by the impacts of climate change. Four fifths of the forest that covered almost half of the Earth's land surface eight thousand years ago have already been irreplaceably degraded or destroyed.

Good topic indeed!

We can also discuss how we can help conserve environment in our day today life.

Bit by bit even very small things makes huge difference. For example re-using the shopping polythene bags as garbage bags. In an year one household can save 365 bags, one city of 100,000 houses can save 3,65,000 bags. Making this a habit would save millions over the year.

The same thing can be applied by switching off unnecessary lights. Even controlling the cooking gas knob according to utensil can save a lot of gas if looked from the long angle.

The best part is, once developed into habit, these small things helps us not only protect our environment but also help us save money without changing (or compromising) comfort or facilities levels.

Thanks Arvind..!!

Indeed , i agree with you,,these days wastage is causing more pollution..people show of their wealth by wastage,,keeping the vehicle on even if they are not inside it,,using the A/C at the minimun temp (max power utilization). and the very common habit of not switching off light while leaving the room,,,even it is for 5 minutes,,it would help us save more electricity,,,less electricity used------>less produced -------> in turn less burning of coal for elec production----> less carbondioxide and other gases in atmosphere...
it all requires is just a small begining..!!
lets come forward...and develop energy saving habits.
