This is one of the best and healthiest ways to eat corn, I think. Very easy to make. And quick too.

1. Select corn cobs for their juicy ness. The way I do it is to remove about an inch or so of the leaves from the top of the corn cob so as to be able to touch the corn seeds - press one with finger nail - if juice comes off on the finger then the corn cob is juicy and can be bought/selected.

2. Remove all the leaves and cut the corn cob into 2 pieces from the center. Dip them in boiling water for approximately 2 minutes. Immediately immerse them in ice cold water for abour 5 minutes. Take them out, wipe off all excess water - they are ready to eat! Yummy :)

So you see, there is no butter, no salt etc applied. It is optional.
