Important Information - Passport Department !

Today Morning i along with few others,came to know that :

1. For north Delhi Residents,
The passport Dept has been shifted from Rohini Sec 3 to Aggarwal Auto Plaza,Haider pur,infront of Badli jail.(Main outer Ring road)

3. if you download the Passport form from www.passport.gov.in (http://www.passport.gov.in) and fill itmanually then you can submit that form only at Headoffice behind hayat hotelDelhi.
Note : Regional Passport(Mini seva kendra) office will not accept it.

3. The other Procedure is if you want to submit your form to Regional passport office then you will have to follow these steps:-

open www.passportindia.gov.in (http://www.passportindia.gov.in)

You can download an e-Form (http://www.passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/online/downloadEFormStatic) to your computer, fill it offline and upload it on the Passport Seva website. You need not be a registered user to download an e-form. However, to upload the filled e-form you need to have a user account. To create your user account,Register now (http://www.passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/user/RegistrationBaseAction).

You need to have Adobe PDF Reader version 8.0 or later installed on your computer to be able to fill the e-form offline. If you do not have Adobe PDF Reader or the required version,download the latest version of Adobe PDF Reader (http://get.adobe.com/reader/).

Following are the steps involved in online e-form submission -

Step 1: Download the e-form to your computer.

Step 2: Fill the form offline and save it.You need to be a registered user to be able to upload the filled e-form. To create your user account for for uploading e-form,Register now. (http://www.passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/user/RegistrationBaseAction)

Step 3:Log into your Passport Seva user account.

Step 4: Select theUpload e-Form menu option in the left navigation menu and upload your form.

Step 5 (Optional):Upload the required documents using theUpload Documentslink on the Applicant Home Page. The documents to be uploaded must be self-attested (signed by the applicant) and must be in pdf format.

Step 6: You are required to be present at the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) /Mini Passport Seva Kendra (Mini PSK) along with original documents for completion of the application submission process.Schedule an appointment with the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK)/ Mini Passport Seva Kendra (Mini PSK) that comes under the jurisdiction of applicant residence.Online appointment is mandatory to walk into PSK for further processing.Only emergency/medical cases may go to PSK without appointment - service will be provided at the discretion of PSK in -charge.

Note:We recommend you to schedule an appointment with Passport Seva Kendra (PSK)/Mini Passport Seva Kendra (Mini PSK) to reduce your waiting time. You will need to resubmit the the application in case the form submission process is not completed within a month of submitting the application online.

My Personal Comment :
few people may find The Above official language a bit confusing ,what you have to keep in mind that :
After filling the e-form ,
take the print out of your application Ref no(ARN) ,
Then Click on Manage appointment link to schedule an appointment by selecting date and time.
arrive the Passport kendr 30 min prior to the scheduled time with Print out of ARN and appointment slip with all your original douments(+ 2sets self attested photocopies of the documents).
