Chakkar mein e mat pade Samar...... 2200 ki cheez kitna chaalegi... tenne bhi bera s er menne bhi.............. Yoh saara saang is desh ka fuddu kaatan ka s.......
There will be no support if things go wrong. What about data security etc in this kind of crap piece. You never know what it will support in terms of browser etc and what not. You can not upgrade the software. Which operating system it has. God knows when the launching company will stop supporting it....

Do you think, govt or any of so called small companies have guts to do extensive research to make a great tablet? Nahi.....

Buy an iPad - may be lowest range if budget is the constraint - 16 GB will suffice for normal use - at least you will have peace of mind that your data is safe, you will get support whenever needed and it will not crash every now and then.

Er 2200 faaltu ho re sein to menne de de bhai !

Yes it has got issues :

http://www.hindustantimes.com/technology/PersonalTech-Updates/Better-faster-Aakash-2-to-be-launched-in-Feb-2012/SP-Article1-764394.aspx

This comes after the IIT students, who are testing Aakash-1, citied overheating within 30 minutes of usage, frequent system freeze, poor sound quality, absence of support for all formats and inability to install free software available online as some of the problems with the device. "Aakash is much below our expectations," said an IIT student, who has used the device for a month.

[4] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aakash_(tablet)#cite_note-HT1-3) Problems such as low RAM (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAM), frequent system freeze, poor sound quality, absence of support for all formats and inability to install free software available online were also cited by users.[4] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aakash_(tablet)#cite_note-HT1-3) Technical commentator Prasanto Roy criticized issues such as a low battery life, an insufficient 7" screen and absence of training and support infrastructure, especially in rural areas. [26] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aakash_(tablet)#cite_note-PCQuest1-25)Aakash-2 will be released by 2012.IIT Rajasthan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IIT_Rajasthan) has finalized the improvements of Aakash-1.[27] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aakash_(tablet)#cite_note-26)

May be wait for next release of Aakash - Aakash - 2 which will have 1 GB of RAM. But that will cost you more :D ..

The tablet also has a VGA front facing camera for video calling. While Panta Tpad IS 701r has the BSNL branding, the other two tablets images do not have.

The second tablet is named 'Panta Tpad_ws704c'. It has the same specification as its cheapest cousin (701r) but offers added 3G connectivity which supports both CDMA/EVDO and GSM, inbuilt A-GPS, Accelerometer and Bluetooth. It also comes with a 2 megapixel rear camera and also has bigger 512 MB RAM for faster performance.

The costliest amongst the three is the Tpad WS802C which has an 8 inch capacitive screen. It comes with a faster 1.2 GHz processor and 512 MB RAM. The internal memory is also bigger at 4 GB. Rest of the features like GPS, camera and Bluetooth are same as the 704C.
