Speech by Mr. Narayan Murthy at Development Dialogue, Hubli on January 15th 2012.
His belief & formula for success
1. You should have a single objective, two may not hurt.
2. Draw a road map.
3. Write down mile stone.
4. What is measureable is only achieved. Every achievement to be measured.
5. Today is the world of internet or high technology, so you should benchmark yourself with the highest standard globally.
6. Every business should be scalable. Growth is most important.
7. Once launched, go for it, no room for pessimism.
8. Infrastructure & resource are always short, but once you are with your plan, they follow and are always available.
9. When I bring smiles on everyone’s face when I walk-in is the biggest achievement in my life. For which I need not be rich or powerful. I help every individual.
10. Present your paper with facts stronger than your opponent. Next time you will be ready to be even stronger & will get your point through say with the government.
11. Don’t clash with the government. Go along with the Government and society. Society gives everything- elected Government, beauracrats, consumers, businessman, doctors, scientists etc…
12. You must have fun in life which keeps you happy. Only a happy mind can deliver.
