Press with thumb for 5 seconds & release for 3 seconds,
in the affected point.
Repeat for 2-3 minutes,
for 5 to 10 days. you will get relief...

If possible please share photographs of the exercise to make it more clear. I have done 'mudra' asanas and they are very good. I suppose what you have mentioned here pertains to some sort of acupuncture.
