IELS is a cake walk as long as your english is good, else best thing is to buy ielts prepration book from byrons and go through it very carefully. then as a second step you can get prepration software where you get a lot of listening exercises (in case you feel your listening is week). you can get this software very cheep from nehru place, delhi.
Once you are ready with your preprations, then give at least 5 moc tests. there are books available for this as well. scoring at these tests will give you the confidence you need to clear the test.

Best of luck to all of you for your exam.

cheers!

Hi All

I have taken IELTS test, And it is very easy , nothing to worry. For preparing frp IELTS, best is BCD, British Council Division , They have their offices in many cities , in delhi , they are at Kasturba Gandhi Marg. They are also conducting the training for same that is of 03 days 4-6 hrs daily and it costa Rs. 5000/-. You can get the study material from their office also . They will provide 02 audio cassettes and study material .That is very good and help full.
The related links I will provide you later .

One more thing , You can also contact IDP, office in WTT world trade tower, ground floor, They also conduct IELTS test and provide diff . packages of study information.

Any further query if you have you can contact me at my ajay_nehra@yahoo.com

Hi All

In speaking test , there is no such topic you can stic to, It all depends upon the person in front of you asking the questions. In my case , the topic was Telling about museums and like my best book, wha it is best , what do you like most abt it. What is the latest news inviting your attention most these days and why.

Important::::--- Never take much time in intorduction. only 05 min are enough to introduce yourself. Then let the examinor speak and ask the questions. More the questions are asked , better for you ,Then you need not to search for words and the make your topic un -necessarily lengthy. Speak less, listen more, Answer appropriately, Don't be too much verbose.

if anyone is in Delhi , can collect the study material from me on returnable basis and I will tell more in details about the notes.

Nothing to worrry, IELTS is very very easy, you all will get good band score.

>>>>>Take test from IDP not at BCD

Best of Luck

hey guys , There is no need to get hassled about giving IELTS. It is a simple exam. In case you think that you need some extra preparation do get a membership if a british library nearest to you. Otherwise , a set of books i.e. cambridge IELTS preparation would suit for a general purpose.

Just keep ur concentration during listening part. Avoid any grammatical and spelling mistakes. Use good vocabulary.
No need to make a fuss about speaking part, just speak what you want. It will be all fine.
