पिताजी बताया करे के ताऊ न एक बार तोशाम और आदमपुर त एक साथ चुनाव लड़ा था और दोनों जगह से ताऊ बुरी तरह हारे थे | ताऊ हिसार पार्टी कार्यालय में थे अर्र जब दोनों जगह से हार की खबर मिली तो कुछ नहीं बोले , खबर सुनकर चुप चाप सो गए , २-३ घंटे सोने के बाद जब उठे तो वाहा मौजूद दो -तीन वर्करो से पूछा ..जेब में कितने पैसे हैं ? उन्होंने बताया की ताऊ जी हमारे पास ३ हजार रूपये हैं , के काम था ? ताऊ बोले काम तो के था चलो बिहार हांड आवा | आर ताऊ ने एक बनिए के पास फोन किया के दफ्तर में 25 हजार रूपये भेज दे | एक ने कहा के ताऊ इतने पैसो का के करेंगे.. आपा ने रेल में जाना स अर्र इतने पैसे आपणे धोरे स .......तो ताऊ ने कहा के बिहार में गरीबी स उड़े किम्मे साड़ी , चावल बाँट आवांगे ...के याद करेंगे देवी लाल आया था ............इसा आदमी था ताऊ जो हार जीत की गणी परवाह न किया करता .....

I totally agree with you that जो जिस्सा हो कहणा चाहिए lekin jo jessa nahin ho uske bare mein vaisa nahin kahana chahiya. Yahi to Itihas hamen sikhata hai.

On this day a great signature on the history of Modern India--Chaudhary Devi Lal--left for his heavenly abode.

But his mission remains unfulfilled. It would be appropriate to apply his mission of all inclusive development of the countrymen as depicted from his own words spoken at the Grand Rally at Boat Club, Delhi organised on the occasion of his 75th Birthday:

HAR KHET KO PAANI , HAR HAATH KO KAAM;
HAR TAN KO KAPADA, HAR SIR PE MAKKAN;
HAR PET KO ROTI, BAAKI SAB BAAT KHOTI.
