Indian military academy passing out parade

Today IMA is having passing out parade in Dehradun,this year 421 cadets are passing out from the institute.

jat boy from haryana( bhiwani) Vikram Maan has bagged brigade of the guard medal this year.

Top Three states with maximum number of cadets are
UTTAR PRADESH-76 CADETS
HARYANA -50 CADETS
UTTARAKHAND -46 CADETS

Uttarakhand with just 1 crore population has highest number of cadets as per cadets to population ratio .

I am just guessing, but I think this over representation of Uttarakhand may have to do with IMA being in Dehradun. In NDA(Khadagwasla), cadets from Haryana form the largest share with Uttarakhand being a distant third(after U.P.).

yes this is one of the reason,because CDS become a choice for many in their graduation years and they see it happening two times a year (passing out parade) but uttarakhand otherwise also have one regiment kumaoun and garhwal rifles
apart from army in navy and airforce as well state has large representation present navy chief is from uttarakhand it self.

apart from VIKRAM MAAN ,SUDEEP KUMAR is also from bhiwani, laad village infact both have studied together at kunjapuri army school karnal.

SUDEEP KUMAR has bagged sword of the honour.

third in the list is DHARMPAL SINGH ,he is from Mathura with army background.
