Tomar or tanwar jat gotra

सर आप यह परेशानी को दूर करे यह बताये की तोमर और तंवर एक गोत्र है क्या ?
क्यों की कुछ जाट तंवर ,तोमर जाटो में शादी भी करते है । जबकि कुछ एक मानते हैमानते है अलग है जबकि इतिहास के अनुशार दोनों एक ही गोत्र है । तोमर ही तंवर कहलाते है
सर जी अलीगढ में तंवर जाट अब तोमर ही लिखते है उनके मूल गाँव पृथला है पृथला में जाट तंवर लिखते है और तंवर को तोमरो से अलग मानते है जबकि दोनी गोत्र का वंश दिल्ली के राजा अनगपाल से जोड़ते है जो की तोमर है । जबकि कैथल के शिरा गोत्र खुद को तोमर और तंवर दोनों मानता है और इन में शादी नही करता है फिर यह कैसे हुआ की कुछ तंवर और तोमर एक दुसरे से शादी करने लग गये ................भाई बहिन की शादी जाटो में नही होती तो यह कैसे ..........
ये ही हाल गुज्जर जाति का है उनमे भी भरतपुर जिले में तोमर और तंवर में शादी होती है जब यह गोत्र एक है तो क्या यह जायज है ..........................................

Nothing can be said with certainty on the issue. According to Wiki page Tomar and Tanwar are common name for one of the Jat gotras. Therefore, if we rely on the authenticity of the sources quoted there, historically speaking both are the same!

In the same there is dearth of data on the issue raised by you. Apparently, the reason for development of this type of matrimonial relationship may at first be attributed to the fact that due to ignorance of the remote past history of the origin of the Tomar gotra and its variant Tanwar.


Since the people living in far off places did not remember their origin distinctly, the love affair or arranged marriages might have been solemnised between the families spelling themselves variously as Tomar and Tanwar respectively.


After, happening of a few such cases, it might have developed as an accepted convention and tradition for the rest of the Tomars and Tanwars.

That seems to be a logical conjecture as no historic records are available, at least to me, on the issue.

लगता है अभी तक खाप के किसी स्वयंभू नेता की नज़र नहीं पड़ी इस मुद्दे पर | पड़ी होती तो आप सबको पता ही है अब तक क्या क्या हो गया होता| और इतिहासकारो को तो खुदाई ते ही फुर्सत नहीं है और कुछ तो सरस्वती नदी में नहान की भी सोच रहे है

tomar,tanwar ,sulakhlaan ye teen naam ek ho got ke liye paryog kiye jaate hein.aagar inhone apni vanshaawali alag kar li aur vivaah vgeraa aapas me karne lage hein toh usme koi buraai nahi he
ek udhaaharn:-
panwar,panwaar,puriyaa,lohchaab,lohchav,lochab--- ye ek hi got thaa ,aur ye aapas me bhaai chaaraa nibhaate the ,kuchh saal pahle (20-25 ) inki panchaayat hui aur inhone panwar,panwaar,puriyaa, ko lohchaab,lohchav,lochab se alag kar liyaa aur aapas me rishte karne lag gaye.
toh ye unn got waalon ki aapas ki maantaa par he ki wo agar alag honaa chaahein to ho sakte hein
jese kuchh saal pahle hudda aur malikon(gathwaalaa) ki panchaayat hui aur unhone daadi agar gujar chuki he to uskaa got me shaadi kar sakte hein ki maannytaa ko maan liyaa aur ab sab got (adhiktar) usko manane lag gaye hein .kyonki ye majboori ban chuki he ,40-50 saal pahle naani kaa got bhi chhod diyaa gayaa thaa ,toh ye saamaajik maannytaayen samynusaar badalti rahti hein ,aur badlni bhi chaahiye.
