World Environment Day [WED] is observed all over the globe on 5th June every year

to promote awareness on the environmental issues to tackle challenges that include

climate change, global warming, disasters and conflicts, harmful substances, environmental

governance, ecosystem management and resource efficiency.


Let us take pledge on this day to contribute our humblest bit towards this noble mission.

Cultural pollution is rising very rapidly as is self evident if we pay attention to media reports whether TV channels, Radio or Newspapers in the country. The deterioration in cultural values and ethos in the social field is showing its impact on the headlines of the newspapers showing mistreatment with fair sex in every nook and corner and simultaneously increasing the burden on police and judiciary by piling up the cases rape cases, dowry death cases and so on daily. It is high time to pay attention to control the malaise at the earliest possible.
