I don't thinks Sachin deserve for Bharat Ratan award. Major Dhyanchand was much deserving candidate in sports before Sachin Tendulkar, he was the greatest sports man of his era in comparision to Sachin.

सर्वप्रथम मेजर ध्यानचंद को भारत रत्न देना चाहिए था। मेजर ध्यानचंद ने जब जर्मनी को हॉकी में धूल चटाई थी तब वो भारत के प्रथम खिलाड़ी एवं नागरिक थे जिसने विदेश में तिरंगा लहराया हो एवं तब हिटलर ने ध्यानचंद को कहा कि आप भारत छोड़ कर जर्मनी आ जाओ मुँह माँगा धन एवं अन्य सुविधाएँ दूँगा तब ध्यानचंद ने हिटलर को उत्तर दिया कि मैं पैसों के लिए नहीं देश के खेलता हूँ। उन्होंने अपने बलबूते पर भारत को ओलम्पिक में ३ बार हॉकी में स्वर्ण पदक दिलवाया था।


जबकि सचिन तेंदुलकर अपने बलबूते पर कोई भी क्रिकेट कप अथवा ट्राफी नहीं दिला पाये।
स्टेडियम में २०-२५ का हज़ार का टिकट लेकर जो लोग सचिन की विदाई के समय रो रहे थे, क्या उनको रोना तब आया था जब १०-१५ हज़ार की साधारण नौकरी करने वाले सैनिकों के शीश सीमा पर 'धूम्रलोचन पाकिस्तान" द्वारा काट लिए गए थे और उन शीश को फ़ुटबाल बनाकर खेलते हुए ले गए थे?


क्या उन सैनिकों में कोई कोई भी 'भारत रत्न' के योग्य नहीं था?


'भारत रत्न' पर वोट बैंक की राजनीति की जा रही है इस देश में। किसी के प्रशंसकों (फैंस) को अपनी पार्टी की और आकर्षित करने का अच्छा तरीका है। फिर भी मैं आशा करता हूँ कि आप लोग इसे गहराई से समझें। खेल और राजनीति दो भिन्न-भिन्न विषय हैं। खेल पर राजनीति कर राजनीति को खेल ना बनने दें।

जब ऐसे व्यक्ति को भारत रत्न देने का विचार बन ही गया जिसे देश में पहली बार हुई मानव बिक्री में नीता अंबानी ने बोली लगा कर नीलामी में खरीद लिया और वह महान व्यक्ति भी बिक्री के लिए सहर्ष तैयार हो गया तो क्यों न यह पुरस्कार सीधे अंबानी, टाटा, बजाज, बिरला, जिंदल आदि उद्योगपतियों को ही दे दिया जाए। कम से कम वे लाखों लोगों को प्रत्यक्ष/अप्रत्यक्ष रोजगार तो उपलब्ध कराते हैं जिससे हजारों परिवार पलते हैं।

कांग्रेस गठबंधन वाली भारत की सरकार ने जिस सचिन तेन्दुलकर को भारत रत्न देने के लिए नियम कानून में संशोधन कर दिये और खेल को भारत रत्न की श्रेणी में शामिल कर लिया वे सचिन तेन्दुलकर अपने आपको क्रिकेटर ही नहीं मानते। यह कोई हवा हवाई बात नहीं है बल्कि बाकायदा आयकर विभाग को शपथपत्र पर सचिन तेन्दुलकर की ओर से यही लिखकर दिया गया है। 2011 में इन्कम टैक्स ट्रिब्यूनल में आयकर विभाग द्वारा अपील का जवाब देते हुए सचिन तेन्दुलकर ने अदालत को जानकारी दी है उसमें साफ कहा है कि क्रिकेट उनका पेशा नहीं है और बीसीसीआई की ओर से उन्हे जो कुछ रकम दी जा रही है वह असल में उनकी आय के अन्य स्रोत हैं। उनकी आय का मुख्य स्रोत कंपनियों के प्रचार से मिलनेवाला धन है और वे क्रिकेटर नहीं बल्कि एक विज्ञापन जगत के एक मॉ़डल और बिजनेसमैन हैं।

मुंबई आयकर विभाग द्वार सचिन तेन्दुलकर के इस केस में सचिन की ओर से जो जानकारिया आयकर विभाग को दी गई हैं वे बेहद चौंकानेवाली हैं। सचिन तेन्दुलकर बनाम सहायक आयकर अधिकारी, मुंबई की अपील संख्या 428 से 430 के जवाब में सचिन तेन्दुलकर ने साफ कहा है कि क्रिकेट उनका पेशा नहीं है। 2008 में दायर इस आयकर मामले में 2011 में सचिन तेन्दुलकर की ओर से जो जवाब दाखिल किया गया है उसमें स्वीकार किया गया है कि क्रिकेट उनका पेशा नहीं है और वे बीसीसीआई के पेड कर्मचारी हैं। और वे क्रिकेट देश के लिए नहीं बल्कि बीसीसीआई के लिए खेलते हैं।

असल में आयकर विभाग ने सचिन तेन्दुलकर द्वारा दाखिल आयकर रिटर्न (31-10-2003) में कई गड़बड़ियां पाई थीं जिसके लंबे समय बाद आखिरकार उसने इन्कमटैक्स ट्रिब्यूनल में 2008 में केस दर्ज करवा दिया था। आयकर विभाग की मुख्य आपत्ति इस बात की थी कि सचिन तेन्दुलकर ने अपने आयकर रिटर्न में क्रिकेट को अपने आय का जरिया नहीं माना था। बल्कि उनकी ओर से जो आयकर रिटर्न भरा गया था उसमें उन्होंने अपने आपको एक बिजनेसमैन साबित किया था। क्रिकेट से उनको जो आय होती थी, उसे उन्होंने आय के अन्य स्रोत कॉलम में दिखाया था।

इस केस के बाद आयकर विभाग को सचिन तेन्दुलकर की ओर से दाखिल जवाब में कहा गया है कि "निश्चित रूप से वे दुनियाभर में एक क्रिकेटर के बतौर जाने जाते हैं लेकिन असल में वे बीसीसीआई के पेड कर्मचारी हैं जो कि एक क्लब है। वे क्रिकेट की गतिविधियों में शामिल हैं।" यानी वे सीधे तौर पर क्रिकेटर नहीं हैं बल्कि क्रिकेट की गतिविधियों में शामिल एक व्यापारी हैं। बीसीसीआई से होनेवाली आय को वैध ठहराने के लिहाज से सचिन द्वारा दाखिल इस जवाब में कहा गया था कि बीसीसीआई का लोगो अपने शरीर पर पहनने से जो कमाई होती है वह उनके आय के अन्य स्रोत का हिस्सा है। 31-10-2003 को सचिन तेन्दुलकर द्वारा दाखिल आयकर रिटर्न पर 2008 में आयकर विभाग द्वारा उठाई गई आपत्तियों के मद्देनजर सचिन तेन्दुलकर की ओर से 2011 में यह जवाब दिया गया।

जिस वित्त वर्ष में सचिन तेन्दुलकर की आय पर सवाल उठाया गया था उस वित्त वर्ष में सचिन तेन्दुलकर ने आयकर न्यायालय को दिये जवाब में कहा है कि उस वित्त वर्ष में उनकी कुल आय 19 करोड़ 95 लाख 27 हजार 85 रूपये थी। इसमें 5 करोड़ 92 लाख 31 हजार 211 रूपये फारेन एक्स्चेन्ज के तहत मिले थे जिसे ईएसपीएन स्टार स्पोर्ट्स, पेप्सी कंपनी और वीजा ने दिया था। सचिन तेन्दुलकर इसी फारेन एक्सचेन्ज की कमाई में आयकर छूट की मांग की थी जिसके जवाब में आयकर विभाग ने जब जांच पड़ताल शुरू की तो पाया कि आय की यह छूट खिलाड़ियों या कलाकारों के लिए है जबकि सचिन तेन्दुलकर की ओर से आयकर रिटर्न भरा गया था उसमें उन्हें क्रिकेटर बताया ही नहीं गया था। इसी के बाद आयकर विभाग ने केस दायर करके सचिन तेन्दुलकर से अतिरिक्त आयकर वसूलने की अपील की थी।

अब ऐसे में सवाल यह है कि अगर खुद सचिन तेन्दुलकर खुद आधिकारिक रूप से अपने आपको क्रिकेटर नहीं मानते हैं तो भला भारत सरकार ने उन्हें किस हैसियत से खेल का भारत रत्न दे दिया?

It is very unfortunate to hear such debates and doubt Sachin's commitments to the sport. It is immaterial and foolish to compare two legends in any way. Dhyanchand played in a different era than Tendulkar. Sachin has motivated and inspired not only Cricketers but most sportsmen of the country. His self-conduct reach beyond than sports. He inspires common people to dedicate and discipline themselves and stay grounded in tough and easy times. I think if Dhayanchad had been alive, he would have welcomed Sachin getting Bharat Ratna. Its good for sports and sportsmen. It will inspire generation to come to be sportsmen and to be sportsmen is the way to be a better human being oneself. Haters will be haters.

There are many non deserving who got this award the biggest example is Rajiv Gandhi ..but how can we compare Sachin with Mother Teresa and Mahatma Gandhi where he stands in compare to them he did great in Cricket .. what he did socially for the country ... his achievemts are great in cricket will these achievemts are enough to get the highest award .....

Also- Bharat Ratna is for anyone who brings laurels to country in any field, some do it in social field other in sports. Mahatma Gandhi never got Nobel prize, does that change anything?


There are many non deserving who got this award the biggest example is Rajiv Gandhi ..but how can we compare Sachin with Mother Teresa and Mahatma Gandhi where he stands in compare to them he did great in Cricket .. what he did socially for the country ... his achievemts are great in cricket will these achievemts are enough to get the highest award .....

Dint did anything special for which he should habe get the highest civilian award other being an average PM ... reasons are diplomatically Lankan blunder ..and Bofors case are the biggest reasons to reject his name for the highest award ...... he was not suitable for this award other then being a member of Gandhi family ... now my question to you ...Justify his Bharat Ratna award....

Sachin rightly deserve the right the Bharat Ratan. He inspired a generation of Indian cricketers and put the confidence in the team. Not only on field but off- field also his conduct was of a gentleman. For long career of 24 years he stayed away from controversies that is really adorable. It is easy for a normal person can scumb under the pressure of fame and money and lose direction.
But I am not happy the way it has been announced. The methodology used by Congress is just to draw out some political milage out of this.
And yes, Major Dhyanchand should be awarded with Bharat Ratan.

Yes, I too vote for Sachin, He deserves it, He is "true" nav ratn" of young India, so considering his long achievements and contribution for the game, it is absolutely justified. However, this does not mean there are "No" other eligible candidates. Major sahab is one of them, PT Usha, Milkha singh.... May be next time..... Sometime young to older approach is better....

And present politically charges environment...... why only Atalji, I do feel list must be bigger......... " Advani ji", Ch. Charan Singh, Ch. Devilal... also tall leader..... and how we can forget "Modi", he is surely one of "NAV-RATN"....

Vajpayee Ji is also a great statesman and a former PM.

Indians are known for their poverty in world, but Mukesh Ambani like personalities have shown the world that Indians can even be richest of the world. There is no Indian who has reached the position in richness, Mukesh Ambani has reached. He has made the Indians proud and impressed the whole world too.
