These looters have been given sufficient time to withdraw or transfer their money from the Swiss bank accounts. They were well aware that as soon as the govt. changed at the centre, they would be in the dock.

That was pretty imminent. Nothing surprising. After all, they were not fools to keep their money parked in those Swiss Bank accounts even when they knew that the govt. is going to change. This was the reason for the so many foreign trips undertaken by them.

The Finance Minister of India in Parliament said today that Government has initiated action against those persons who have accounts in foreign banks to ascertain whether it is accounted for or not. But at the same time he refused to divulge the names of these account holders because the Government of India has promised to the foreign governments supplying their names that they would not be made public. Let us wait for the results of the inquiries how much 'black' or 'white' money comes out from this action.

For Black Money, Look In India, Not in Switzerland!

There have been claims from likes of Baba Ramdev that Black Money Swiss amounted to the tune of $1.2 trillion. In march 2012, Parliament was informed by Govt of India qouting the CBI sources the Black Money in Swiss Banks was around$ 500 Million. Other reports including those reported by Swiss Bankers association and the Govt. of Switzerland Total amount held in Swiss banks is only about $2 Billion. A well written and convincing Article on Black Money:
