during june sept haryana recived 277.8 mm of rainfall against its long termavg of 460mm(1941-90).with overall lack of 40 % leading to another metrological draught last yearwhich was fifth in row.faridabad district recorded 36% less rain in 2013 as compaired to 2012.in rainy season ppl use yamuna bank for paddy cultivation.these paddy feilds with stagnent waters provide potential breading sites for aneopheles mosquito.inadequate rain and incresed humidity at time of transmission season might be responsible for persistance of breading sites in these areas.
if the responsible authority deal with problem considering the things more technically ,no doubt malaria can be controlled drastically.
