21 वीं सदी का भारत
स्वर्गीय मनसुख रणवां 'मनु' की इस शीर्षक की कविता नीचे दी गयी है:
21 वीं सदी का भारतराम के भारत में मैनें,
अजब खेला होते देखा,रोज यहाँ इंसानों को,
जीते जी मरते देखा।सोने की चिड़िया को आज मैनें,
पिंजरे में तड़पते देखा,सफेदपोश गिद्धों को,
भारत माँ के आँचल को नोचते देखा।प्रजातंत्र को आज मैंने,
फाँसी के फंदे से लटकते देखा,जेल में बैठे अपराधियों को,
यहाँ चुनाव जीतते देखा।एक बूढ़े नौजवां को, परिणय सूत्र में,
मैनें बंधते देखा,सीता-सावित्री का चीरहरण, खुल्लमखुल्ला होते देखा।
शराब की बोतल में बैठा, आज एक इंसान देखा,पिता के कन्धों पे पुत्र का,
जनाजा आज मैनें देखा।एक मछली के पेट में मैनें,
महासागर को तड़पते देखा,नेताओं की जेबों में,
मैंने आज भारत का भविष्य देखा।भारत में कागजी पर्यावरण को,
यहाँ खूब फलते-फूलते देखा,बड़े-बड़े शहरों में मैनें, दिन को रात में बदलते देखा।
ओलम्पिक खेलों में भारत को मैनें, सदा औंधे मुंह गिरते देखा,
अन्नदाता किसान को मुश्किलों में, मैनें आत्मदाह करते देखा।
भारत माँ के सपूतों को, बिना युद्ध यहाँ शहीद होते देखा।
देशभक्ति का दंभ भरने वालों को, मात्र राज की खातिर मरते देखा।
मनु की नगरी में मैनें आज, इंसानियत को मरते देखा।
कुत्ते की वफा को वर्तमान में, मैनें केवल निभते देखा।
सपने में मैनें आज, 21वीं सदी का भारत देखा।
एक बार फिरंगियों को, फिर भारत में आते देखा।
इंसानियत के जन्म दाता भारत में, इंसानियत को वापस बहाल करो,
दुश्मन की छाया ना पड़े धरा पे, ऐसा मजबूत तुम इंतजाम करो।

Looks odd and sounds hopeless rather then hopeful.
Talking too much of "death and sadness", when times are bad only positive thinking and positive work will improve the situation.
So " Leave Hindi" start using world languages "like German, English, Spanish, etc." and make the world a better place, then just going around in "circles of Hindi"

So " Leave Hindi" start using world languages "like German, English, Spanish, etc." and make the world a better place, then just going around in "circles of Hindi"
Let us not be bound by language, thoughts and other boxes in our minds created throughout the centuries by religious crap, lack of knowledge. Real knowledge, new views about life exist out of the realm of unknown. Realm of unknown exists in knowledge and views that exist in different cultures and languages which open new windows of mind.

What religion a child has, when it is born? Who are the child`s parents for a new born child? What nation a child has when a child is born?
and still people blindly "love India". Should a place be loved for what nature, animals, birds, flowers, plants, air, water, soil, people, life, culture it stands for in its natural healthy form or the "love India" stands for all the hypocrisy taught by religion, politicians, crooked people, criminals?
I think the boundaries of so called "India", created by this hypocrisy never allows us to look beyond our mental mind frame. The animals, birds, flowers, plants, air, water, soil, people, life, culture is not only limited to the mental mind frame called "India". These things are everywhere.

You are right Friend, patriotism must be blended with humanism for smooth flow of mankind's life all over the globe !

One has to start from somewhere as nothing happens in vacuum.
Right.
It is said, charity begins at home. Therefore, to love mankind scattered over various parts of the Globe, one has to start with loving one's immediate neighbouring surrounding. As he does so gradually all the lands and countries come under loving care gradually with increase in his understanding of universe of 'love'.
Yes narrow 'patriotism' must be avoided !

They must not get trapped in self glorification.
Rather critical assessment of the past and introspection of one's present position is the panacea for bright future.
It must also be remembered that optimism not pessimism is the real life line of progress and prosperity.

Why not you start in the direction? Whats the harm praising the land we are born in, you talk of different regions and languages, do they don't praise themselves?
Evils are a part if every society, but just looking at the negative aspects and start criticizing won't do.
One who doesn't give respect to his/her Nation can never respect anyone.

Patriotism is good but tolerance towards other countries leads to spread of universal love towards mankind and care of human values or humanism.
