Hi All,

Earlier Chupal used to be very happening place on jatland but huge decline is observed in its usage in recent time.
Most probably due to lot of easy to use application on mobile phones getting more our time.

Is it time to upgrade Chaupal?? May be launching a Android App "Chaupal"?
Any developer online ???

Yes, Sir, thats what we have but not using.. we may need to upgrade it to an android app, so everyone can just get handy use of it.. or we can form a Chaupal group on whatsapp

अनिल भाई क्या आपको नहीं लगता की चौपाल के अलावा बाकि साडी थ्रेड्स से भी मेम्बर लगभग गायब से हो लिए है ? एक टाइम था कभी भी लॉग इन करते ही खूब सारे भाई बंद दीखते थे ओर अब टोहना पद रहा है मुझे तो की कोई मिल जाये ?

When I joined that time I used to find around 30-40 members online. Here was a different Chatroom style. Chatroom main bhi kam se kam 10-15 her time beith raha karte hai.

I think we can use weekly email newsletter to bring those members back on active mode. In weekly newsletter should have some super jokes and discussion forum. Jinko dekhte hi unka man discussion main part lene ka kare. :triumphant:


There must a option in Admin control for sending bulk emails to site members.

Whatsapp cum other chat options culprit hai. Inko club kia ja sakta hai. But again that would require personal numbers which most of members don't want to share. Lokpriyta to kam hui hai no doubt. Now a days we have more active observers rather participants :) sabhi memebers se kam participation ka karan btao notice jaari kar do. Fir root cause dund ke usko sahi karo.

Facebook per jatland ka page banao, twitter per b account banao sath he online forums or blogs per links share kro taki waha se kuch members yaha aa sake.
is se b fayda hoga.

Sath he jo registered members hain unko email ya forums ki updates send kro, us se b fayda hoga.

Abhi tak jo maine dekha h vo ye h ki agar aaj maine Jatland per login kiya h or kisi forum me comment kiya h to muje kuch weeks tak mails me us particulat post ki updates ki mails milegi, uske bad vo b band.

hume isme kuch change krna hoga jaise ki

1) Agar maine kisi post ko LIKE kiya h to us section ki updates ki mail b mere pass mile
2) Kisi post me comment kiya h to uski updates b mile
3) Koi new section add hota h to uski updates b mile.

Apparently this website is heavily moderated. On contrary Facebook, Twitter don't have such obstruction at all. Also website does not have rich features like Photo sharing, chats etc. On top of it heavy moderation takes a toll on the participation of members!

Uske liye pehle ground work karna padega ki popularity kam kyu hui.
Probably this website does not have rich features like fb, twitter etc have. Also scope of this website is just limited to a caste which cannot get many members. Adding rich features such as easy posting of photos, instant messenger etc can help to some extent but not much. You may need to allow members from other communities as well.

Bhai uske lie JL ko apna portal manna jaruri hai, and that doesnt seem to be the case with most of the members, including me. There was a time when JL was a pride but now it is one run of the mill portal for community. In an ideal world we all own it, but in reality we only see one moderator active here Mr. Rajpal- no active participation from leading members even.

Bhai baat to teri b sahi hai. Lekin jab yaha itne moderators bana rakhe hain to ye kaam unko bhi karna chahiye, yha aise he na faltu me posts delete krte ghoome hain..........:)

Searches bot jyda hain Jatt group, jat fb pages, jat forums, jat blogs se related, inper Jatland ki ranking bot niche hai, usko improve krne ki jarurat hai jo SEO se hogi.

Yes those were good old days. People used to get together in chat room during day time to chat with fellow members.

There used to be good debates on all subjects. Jatland is going through a different phase now. Members have changed, debate style is changed, politics is changed, topics are changed but that if life. Change is the only constant thing here.
