RAINS CAME
The power went off. The TV screen went blank. The back-up would come in a minute or so. The prevailing silence was suddenly broken by distance rumblings, that pulled me out to the balcony.
The sky was menacing , covered with a carpet of dark grey and thick clouds , soon started the celestial fire works : the lightening streaking across and illuminating the sky followed slightly later with deafening thundering and rumblings rolling across the sky..
The fascinating sight kept me riveted to the balcony even though the back-up power had come on and with that the beckoning flickering images on the TV that I had left behind in the room.
Soon a big drop of rain fell on my wrist, resting on the grill of the balcony. then a few more and then a long pause : the pregnant sky was reluctant to deliver, however, it could not hold for long and it started raining in right unrest. The Fireworks moving away to some near or distance lands with their show.
