Second Green Revolution

India is in the process of starting second green revolution. First green revolution was all about food and nothing further. Second green revolution is likely to be of much wider nature.

Rkumar sir, good topic, a request, both video are WAY TOO LONG, would appreciate if you could provide a quick gist of these articles.

According to a study, using modern form of farm/food production, to produce one calorie of food, 10 calorie effort is spent. Energy can't be produced, it only gets transformed from one form to another. Using contemporary methods of farm production, we will soon exhaust our energy sources. Solution suggested was that we need to revert back to less energy-intensive, more sustainable organic but still HIGH-YIELD methods to feed the masses.
