Hi all,

I am operating E-mitra kiosk in Rajasthan (Govt Project) for delivering Govt & Business services to public. This portal print receipt automatically on DMP printer connected to LPT port by a DOS Command. But my computer don't have LPT port. Thus I am unable to install a DMP on my computer & receipts can't be printed.

Please tell me how can I print this type of receipts (command come through DOS Command) on a Laser Printer connected through USB port. PLZ.

Have you considered purchasing a LPT to USB adapter or something similar? https://www.google.com.au/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=hazMVL75FoKD8AXz4ICwCA&gws_rd=ssl#q=lpt+to+usb+adapter+images . I don't think it should cost more than 100-200 rs.

whats problem in following solution? LPT to USB cable will work.
For dos printing:
Print was first introduced in MS-DOS 2.0 as PRINT.COM and later was changed to PRINT.EXE in MS-DOS 5.0 and above. This command allowed users to print a text file to a line printer, in the background.

DOS File can be printed through CMD command. Use CMD and then use Print command or use Type Filename >prn Make LPT1 as default printer. For regular use make bat file and call from your programme.
