We are happy to announce the launch of HCL Citizen’s Grant, an initiative of HCL Foundation for supporting sustainable development of rural communities in India.
Through this grant we aim to extend our support to experienced NGOs working in rural India to tackle some persisting social challenges towards education and skill training through innovative, sustainable and replicable programs.
HCLites have always believed in community transformation ideas, and hence here is an opportunity for you to be a part of this initiative. If you know about any NGO which can apply for this, then ask them to visit http://www.hcltech.com/Citizens-Grant (http://www.hcltech.com/Citizens-Grant), and register based on eligibility. Any NGO that is implementing remarkable education and skills training projects in rural India has the chance to receive a grant of up to INR 3 Crores spread over 3 years.
We believe this would be a great opportunity for the NGOs to enhance their current endeavors towards social development initiatives in rural India. Participation in this initiative would not only present an opportunity to these NGOs to widen their outreach and social impact, but would also provide avenues to the participating NGOs to present their competencies to a broader audience. The NGOs would be further supported through exposure to best practices and knowledge from across the HCL Foundation network. It is a unique platform wherein the leaders are selected basis their “idea” as well as their ability and competence to transform those ideas into implementable and result oriented projects.
Therefore, we invite you to join hands with HCL Foundation for upliftment of rural India by simply asking NGOs that you are associated with to apply.
