Dear Sir, Human Life is with a purpose. Larger purpose is for survival of humanity i.e. reproduction. Rest all should be for betterment of the society we live-in.

Very difficult question.... Still understanding life.... Perception or understanding about life is keep on changing with time, place, society where we live and surrounding environment....

Here is what the Charwakas think about life:

yaavat jeevet sukham jeevet, rinam kritvaa ghritam pivet;

bhasmiibhutasya dehasya, punaraagamanam kutah.

As long as one lives, one should live in comfort,

one should relish ghee in abundance, even if one may have to incur debt for the same.

Paani phera bulbula is manoosh kee jaat;

Dekhate hee choop jayega jyon tara prabhat !!

i.e.

Life is short, uncertain, ephemeral, indefinite and can finish at any moment just as morning star set off with coming of the light of the Sun.

Life is for the service of mankind and showing true love to all creatures. "True Love works and serves for the miserable Today and also for the distant golden Tomorrow of our dreams."

WHO has written Ramayana, aim of life is to get real happiness and unable to understand voice of soul

Hereis something from Valmiki, playing ‘devil’s advocate’ in a speech attributed toJabali, a celebrated Rishi:
(addressing Rama) “Leading a life ofasceticism, do not suffer thy intellect to entertain inanities like any lowperson ……since a creature is born alone and dies alone, a person that cherisheshis father and mother with affection must be looked upon as a madman. Noindividual hath any one [in this world] As on the eve of setting out for anothercounty, a person stays somewhere (out side the village he lives in), and thenext day he goes away, renouncing that abode, even such are a man’s father andmother, house and wealth. Worthy people never bear affection towards a mereabode. Therefore, sleaving thy ancestral kingdom, thou ought not to abide inthe disagreeable forest filled with dangers and difficulties ……A father ismerely an instrumental cause for birth. People engage in ashtaka (ancestorworship) in behalf of ancestors and deities. Behold the waste of edibles. Deadperson feed? ….” He further adds a reason why the authority he is againstexists in the first place:…“Works [on morality] enjoining-‘worship’, ‘giveaway’, ‘be initiated’, observe rites’,’renounce’-have been composed by crafty personsto induce people to be charitable. Assure thyself there is no hereafter.”-[Ramayana, Ayodhya Kanda, Adhyaya 108.
