As a matter of curiosity I made a google search for the nominee of the Republican Party for President of the United States in the 2016 election i.e. Mr. Donald John Trump, and through the preliminary search snippets I found that he is an American businessman, politician, television personality, author etc.

Now, as an average Indian, apart from the abovesaid, I was more interested in knowing about Mr. Trump’s social contributions and his devotion for the betterment of humanity (because everywhere across the world the USA is characterized for sending troops, positioning tanks, dropping bombs or shooting missile only in the name of humanity). Through the search I couldn’t find any inspiring example the way we have in India e.g. “Modi Ji sold tea at Vadnagar railway station during his childhood and through his hard work (management/marketing) rose to become PM (although till date the entire nation couldn’t find even a single person who actually purchased the cup of the tea from Modi Ji at that particular platform).
I kept wondering that there would be atleast one instance where Mr. Trump could be portrayed as an awe inspiring leader of humanity, or some proof of his participation in any social movement before aspiring to become the most powerful man in the world. I couldn’t find any such example but found that Mr. Trump is just a businessman & the owner of a business house ‘Trump Organization’ (the same way we have TATA, BIRLA & Reliance in India). Unlikely our Indian Business houses, the Trump Organisation is privately held by Mr. Trump along with his three sons and have interests in real estate development, investing, brokerage, sales and marketing, and property management. You may find it little surprising that Mr. Trump through his Organisation is already in India. The Organisation in April, 2016 announced that they have inked a deal with India's real estate private equity firm IREO to develop an office tower in (recession hit) Gurgaon that would cost around Rs 1,000 crore. It was also revealed that through this venture the Organisation would be developing about 6-7 lakh sq ft of iconic office tower in Gurgaon and the same would be among the tallest commercial tower in the city. Earlier, in the residential segment of real estate, the Organisation had tied up with Pune-based Panchshil Realty in 2012 for a super luxury housing project in the city and with the Lodha group in 2014 for a high-end residential project in Mumbai.

Mr. Trump is a very sharp businessman and know how to take advantage of law, as a part of his business strategy Trump's hotel and casino businesses have been declared bankrupt four times between 1991 and 2009 to re-negotiate debt with banks and owners of stock and bonds. Because in USA for availing bankruptcy benefits his businesses used certain specific bankruptcy law according to which they were allowed to operate while negotiations proceeded. Trump was quoted by Newsweek in 2011 saying, "I do play with the bankruptcy laws — they’re very good for me" as a tool for trimming debt. It seems Mr. Vijay Mallya took the statement seriously.

Mr. Trump has real estate ventures in countries like Scotland, Israel, Istanbul, Canada, Dubai, Panama, Mexico, Domician Republic, Philippines etc. and the Miss Universe Organisation is also owned by the Trump Organization and together with the National Broadcasting Company it produces the Miss Universe, Miss USA, and Miss Teen USA pageants. Again a similar passion pursued by Mr. Mallya.

Interestingly, like an Indian politician did recently, in April 2011, Mr. Trump questioned President Barack Obama’s proof of citizenship alleging that "his grandmother in Kenya said he was born in Kenya, and she was there and witnessed the birth." (Trump's claim derived from a discredited transcript of a telephone interview with Obama's grandmother, produced by a Pennsylvania pastor opposed to Obama's election.) Trump also questioned whether Obama had good enough grades to warrant entry to Harvard Law School. Trump is said to have sent a team of private investigators to Hawaii, Obama's documented birthplace, and told The Today Show "they cannot believe what they're finding." On April 25, 2011, Trump called for Obama to end the citizenship issue by releasing the long form of his birth certificate. Two days later, Obama made a formal statement in efforts by the White House to put the matter to rest with the release of the long form. Trump expressed pride at his role in the certificate's release in a press conference follow-up, saying he hoped it "checks out" and "we have to see, is it real?" When asked in July 2015 whether Obama was born in the U.S., Trump said: "I really don't know. I mean, I don't know why he wouldn't release his records."

From the above it is apparent that Mr. Trump is purely a businessman and his understanding of humanity is very limited. His popularity is majorly based on his american arrogance. Lets see if Mr. Trump wins then how the PM Modi (or other leaders of the world) would be able to forge an alliance with his counterpart to work for the welfare of poor humanity. I wish the rhetoric made by Mr. Trump turn out to be an election ‘Jumla’ and he too forgets the American arrogance after assuming the office the way PM Modi did in India, otherwise this world would be a big battlefield reigned by the businessman turned politicians and the human beings would be just a number and commodity.

If he is good for USA, then good for rest and it is good for Russia. However, we are swiftly drifted towards USA over Russia. May be need arise in future to re-calibrate the stand...

It's too early to reach to any conclusion. USA, an arms lobby driven country can't be controlled/run by Trump alone. Trump seems to be an outspoken, blunt and a person who speaks his mind every time. We have to wait till the time he takes the full fledged control of US
